Ohio Vote Fraud: Connecticut Visitor Says He Cast Early Cincinnati Ballot

Looks like you can just come from any ol’ place and be able to vote in Ohio. Channel 9 News in Cincinnati (my old home town) is reporting that a resident of Connecticut alerted authorities that she illegally voted in Ohio during the early voting phase of the election.
Apparently she felt guilty when she got home.
And also apparently there is more where she came from…

Another Idiot Teacher Alert: Vampire Drawing Gets Kid Called ‘Gang Member’

But Why Does The AP Report Ignore Key Part of Story?
Remember when you were a young school kid and you drew a vampire during the week of Halloween? Remember how the blood was always dripping down from his menacing, pearly white teeth? Remember how it was all in good Halloween fun? Well, you can just forget THAT mister, at least if you are a 5th-Grader in the Savannah-Chatham school system in Georgia. In Georgia, if you draw a vampire you get called a gang member — even when you were assigned to make the drawing — and then you get sent to “psychological evaluation” as if you are some mentally disturbed monster. Then they kick you out of school… for a Halloween drawing. Really.
The Savannah Morning News gives us the gruesome story of another touchy-feelie teacher gone stupid and another poor little kid lost in “zero-tolerance” hell this Halloween week.
When Jordan Hood was assigned the task of drawing a “scary Halloween mask,” he innocently drew a scary vampire. His art teacher even helped him out with a few of the details. But then came home-room teacher Melissa Pevey (amusingly, even her name sounds pent up) who decided that, far from Halloween fun, little 5th-grader Jordan was obviously a violence prone, mentally disturbed, gang member. So in a harrowing Halloween experience that had no fun in it at all, Pevey had him paraded down to the principal’s office where he was confronted by the police and assigned “psychological evaluation” as a punishment for his artistry.
Ohio Elections: ACORN Worker by Day, Prostitute by Night

Of course, we all know that ACORN workers are prostitutes for Barack Obama, The One, the all seeing, all knowing messiah at large.
But, whoda thunk they were also prostitutes for… well… just prostitutes? I mean Real ones?
WCPO channel 9 in Cincinnati is reporting that an ACORN worker was arrested for soliciting an undercover police officer this week. Shari Bell also had a crack pipe in her coat when police arrested her.
So, we know her night job. But what was her day job? Well, apparently she worked for ACORN (the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now), Barack Obama’s old employer and current supporter.
Illegal Democrat Electioneering at Ohio Polls, Butler County

From one of our associates in the field named Dolores (forwarded to me by Thea Shoemake) we get this report of Obama workers canvassing and electioneering among those standing in line to vote today. To be sure this sort of stuff is illegal within the polling area. All such activities have to be far outside the actual polling place, not just in Ohio, but in all states.
Folks,
Ok, now I’m officially scared. This afternoon I went to vote early at the Butler County Board of Elections and found a line with an estimated wait of over an hour.
The voting officials suggested coming back at a later time.
I decided to go back tonight and waited a total of 1 1/2 hours before I could actually vote. There were a lot of interesting things going on while everyone was waiting in line…Obama campaigners were going up and down the long lines handing out candy and water bottles (I don’t think this is allowed so very close to the voting area! We were inside the building in line the whole time this was going on!).
There were huge groups of Obama supporters in line in front of me and behind me literally recruiting people while standing in line, to volunteer over the weekend to do door to door canvasing and election day work.
This is the sort of illegal activity that poll watchers are supposed to report. But, the poll workers in Butler County neglected their duty, for sure.

Assign Criminal Prosecutors to Election Observer Teams
House GOP Leader to Attorney General: “[T]he real motive behind the Department’s decision is undeniably suspect given that Obama partisans in key positions at the Department of Justice may well have played a pivotal role in making it.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) today sent a letter to Attorney General Michael Mukasey, citing concerns about the Justice Department’s recent decision to reverse its policy of assigning criminal prosecutors to serve on all federal election observer teams. The decision comes amid reports of voter fraud across the country.

NYTimes Review of Books Hates Book on War Because no Gays are in it

It’s like dissing a toddler’s beginner science book because the theory of relativity isn’t discussed in exhaustive detail. It’s as foolish as trashing a comic book because the art isn’t of da Vinci quality. It’s as absurd as being mad because a Michael Moore movie isn’t any good or that a candy bar has too much chocolate in it. The review in the New York Times of Martin van Creveld’s new book about war is like expecting a product to be something it isn’t supposed to be. It seems that the Times Reviewer thinks that a book on war isn’t any good unless it deals with gays and feminists. I suppose, though, the New York Times Reviewers don’t like any book unless it deals with gays and feminists at this point, so far has the Times’ reviews degraded to prosaic PCism.
Martin van Creveld’s book The Culture of War is an epic investigation of the why of war, not just the history of same. Van Creveld concludes that war is a part of man’s psyche, a part of man’s very makeup, not just a political expression or some accidental incidental. Man has a never satisfied hunger for war which explains the almost religious veneration for war casualties and veterans and the fascination with uniforms and weapons he exhibits. Man IS war.
This is a heady thesis. It goes against, to a degree, the thoughts of famous Prussian military theorist Carl von Clausewitz who said that war was really just politics by another method — giving war a more disinterested, clinical imputes. Van Creveld is saying man indulges in war because he must, not because he merely chooses to in order to advance a political cause, a la Clausewitz.
OK, OK, that’s all pretty technical and deep. But that’s what this book is all about. Mr. van Creveld presents a firm thesis that war is ingrained in man and then goes about to review history to show it. He discusses in detail the love of showy uniforms, war themes, music, famous personalities at war, various conflicts and outcomes and the like. It’s intended to be a comprehensive history and clocking in at 512 pages it’s nigh on just that.
So, what was the New York Times’ chief complaints? It was too detailed, the writer likes war too much, and, most curious, the book didn’t talk about gays and feminists.
Ohio Secretary of State Linked to ACORN, Project Vote

Connie Hair reports Partisan Ohio Sec. of State is linked to ACORN! This is outrageous that this Sec. of State, one standing in the way of a fair and honest vote in Ohio is linked with one of the most notoriously lawbreaking get-out-the-vote groups in the country.
Ohio Secretary of State Linked to ACORN, Project Vote
by Connie Hair, Human Events
The national development director for Project Vote, an affiliated organization of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, has been linked to embattled Ohio Secretary of State, Democrat Jennifer Brunner. Karyn Gillette of Project Vote was a campaign consultant for the Brunner campaign, according to information found in a post made by Rick Brunner on April 11, 2006 on the secretary of state’s own blog.
“Our candidate had gone earlier in the day to have some meetings and work out of Karyn Gillette’s office, but when your correspondent arrived in his S-10 pickup truck, our staff person, Lauren, drove that back to Columbus, while we continued on to dinner with Craig Bashiene and John Lancione. We were accompanied by our consultant, Karyn Gillette. Karyn and her business partner, Mary Grace, have been very helpful to the campaign.”
The links between Gillette and Brunner do not end there.

Union Campaign Cash Hidden Behind Shell Groups
October 31, 2008 | Filed Under Democrats/Leftists, Elections, News, Publius Contributor, Society/Culture, Unions, Warner Todd Huston | No Comments

Unions are gunning for Republicans this election cycle at an accelerated rate due to the blood in the water of a supposed Democratic landslide ostensibly to be led by Barack Obama.
Not only are unions openly supplying millions to campaigns that oppose the GOP, but they are also doing so by hiding behind organizations that do not “bear their name,” as USA Today put it.
Some big labor unions are spending millions to attack vulnerable Republican senators who have long opposed their agenda in Congress, sometimes channeling their money into non-profits that don’t bear their names, federal records show.
Citizens for Strength and Security, for example, has spent more than $1 million in recent weeks to attack North Carolina’s Elizabeth Dole, who is locked in a contentious battle with Democrat Kay Hagan. Unions are among the group’s major financial backers, including the 2-million member Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which contributed $220,000 in September.
Mostly this is over the woefully inaptly named Employee Free Choice Act that most Republicans oppose.
McCain Endorsing Journalists Thrown off Obama’s Campaign Plane!

ALERT! Senator Obama has thrown off his campaign plane the members of the press representing the New York Post, Washington Times and Dallas Morning News — papers that endorsed John McCain for president. According to an exclusive from Drudge this happened yesterday night, Oct. 30.
As Drudge has it, some are saying that the Obama campaign is trying to “make room” for network bigwigs and a documentary crew attempting to cover Obama’s last remaining days on the campaign trail.
Now, let me recap a paragraph from Obama’s plea to the nutroots to play nice:
But to the degree that we brook no dissent within the Democratic Party, and demand fealty to the one, “true” progressive vision for the country, we risk the very thoughtfulness and openness to new ideas that are required to move this country forward.
But, is throwing off his plane journalists that disagree with him an example of Barack “reaching across the aisle”? Is this his idea of a “new” politics, one of “bipartisan” principles? Dissent from his positions and be banished???
I guess Obama’s intention to play nice and doing away with “brooking no dissent” is suddenly not so important when one wants to win the White House. Let’s “get in their face,” instead, eh Senator Obama?

Chgo Sun-Times Greeley: Racism Will Make Obama Lose

In the Chicago Sun-Times on October 29, Andrew Greeley said that Barack Obama simply cannot beat racism to become president of the United States. He’s consumed by all the talk of racism during this campaign and he sees it everywhere he turns. Of course, Greeley is right. There is a lot of talk of racism. But he isn’t right about where it’s coming from. You see, Greeley is claiming that racism is the sole reason that anyone wouldn’t support Obama and he worries that racist talk is coming in torrents from Obama’s opponents. The truth is, though, that the only people talking about racism is Obama and his most earnest supporters. People like Greeley.
Greeley and Obama’s other supporters claim that anyone that opposes Obama is a racist. But the reality is that Obama’s opponents are not talking much of or worried about the fact that Barack Obama is a black man. Obama’s supporters, however, are acting just like the worst example of a McCarthyite in the respect that they see “racists” under their bed at night, around every corner, and in every dark closet. Greeley and his ilk see racists lurking everywhere… whether they exist or not.
In fact, in his fevered imagination, Greeley thinks that racists fill both parties and that they had marked Obama for destruction at the very outset saying that, “his rivals perceived that they had to destroy him.” He marks the early battleground as the “haters on the Internet” and then claims that the Democrat Party itself took up the anti-Obama bigotry.
Calif. Teachers Outraged Over Dues Going to Gay Marriage Cause

The Pacific Justice Institute reported that teachers in California are outraged that over one million dollars of their dues money has been spent by union leaders to promote gay marriage and to fight Proposition 8, a proposal that would restore the traditional definition of marriage in Calif.
Brad Dacus, president of Pacific Justice Institute, recently claimed that if gay marriage becomes recognized in California, school kids will be confronted with increased pressure to accept gay marriage as normal behavior and will be propagandized in school.
“If CTA has its way, we can expect to see more first-graders taking field trips to lesbian weddings, more elementary-age students subjected to transgender teachers and events like ‘Coming Out Week,’ and more students taught that gay marriage is normal. We do not believe those values represent most Californians, or even most teachers. There is a way teachers can say ‘Enough’ to CTA’s radical agenda. Under federal and state law, teachers and all other unionized employees whose religious values are not honored by their unions have the right to disassociate and divert the full amount of their union dues to charity.”
As I’ve said before, donations to extremist causes like this by unions is further proof that the political agenda of union leaders has strayed far from their proper venue of their worker’s rights and needs. The issue of gay marriage is none of a union’s business, yet here is the CTA donating over a million dollars of its members’ dues to a cause that is completely outside its purview.
Unions are no longer interested in the workers and are only interested in gaining political power to wield without benefiting members.
Let’s Have More Negative, Nasty Campaign Ads!

We are hearing much about the “negative” campaign ads and how deleterious they are to American citizens. I don’t think so. As long as they are truthful, I want to know all I can discover about each candidate. If he is a bum, drunk, philanderer, thief, child molester, pervert, abortionist, I want to know. If he cheated on his wife, I have a right to know that because if a man won’t keep his marriage vows how can I trust him when he vows to respect and enforce the Constitution?
A case in point is the Willie Horton ad of 1988 that Democrats always pull out each campaign cycle. Democrats know that Americans have not been taught to think but to react emotionally. Willie was a rapist, thief, and killer who was sentenced to life in prison without parole. However, he was released from prison on a weekend furrow and never came back! Duh! Did anyone expect him to with a lifetime in prison ahead of him? During his “furlough,” he twice raped a local woman after pistol-whipping, knifing, binding, and gagging her fiancé. Real nice guy.
Since he was black, the press and liberal hypocrites were aghast that the Republicans used the information against Massachusetts Governor Dukakis who was responsible for his release. Republicans should not be defensive about that ad. Every word was truthful, but ignorant Americans did not ask, “Is this ad truthful?” Like lemmings, they followed the media and Democrats and clucked their tongues and sanctimoniously agreed that negative ads are disreputable, despicable, and dangerous to freedom. No, it is the non-thinkers who are dangerous to freedom.

Christians founded this nation, and they will either save it or let fall into the hands of a Socialist-Marxist and his minions. By refusing to vote for Sen. John McCain, Christians will bear a huge portion of responsibility for abandoning their nation in its time of greatest need.
Only a massive turnout of every devout believer in Christ can turn this election around. We most certainly have the numbers to do the job. God fearing Christians who are willing to vote their faith can overturn the attempted theft of this election by the enemy.
The Democrats have let it be known that if and when they gain control of all three branches of government, they will do so for generations to come, by force if necessary.

Feds: Brunner Doesn’t Have to Reveal Voter Mismatches

The U.S. Justice Dept. will probably not intervene before election day in Ohio to force Sec. of State Jennifer Brunner to verify new voter registrations, her office announced on Thursday.
The dispute between the GOP with Rep. John Boehner in the lead and Brunner, a Democrat, concerns the fate of thousands of new voter registrations that are incomplete or have conflicting information on them.
Brunner maintains that there isn’t time to verify the legality of the registrations and also claims that her computer database is not capable to achieve the task of weeding out these “mismatches.” For his part, Rep. Boehner is concerned that vote fraud is endemic among these faulty registration cards.
Brunner claims that there will be plenty of time after the election to fix the computer databases… of course, by then the vote fraud will have had plenty of time to influence the election in favor of Barack Obama.
“I’m disappointed by the Justice Department’s refusal to stop Secretary Brunner’s calculated effort to undermine the integrity of Ohio’s election,” Boehner said.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien warned the various political campaigns that have help hired from outside the state of Ohio that they’d better not vote in Ohio unless they’ve elected to live in Ohio permanently.
O’Brien has spoken to both Republican and Democrat campaigns as well as several get-out-the-vote groups working in Ohio.
“One thing that is crystal-clear is the law — if you are a temporary resident or a visitor, you are not entitled to register to vote and you’re not entitled to vote,” O’Brien, a Republican, told The Dispatch yesterday.
As the Columbus Dispatch notes, this comes on the heels of quite a few vote fraud news in the Buckeye State.

Palestra.net has been doing some great reporting about voter fraud and questionable activities in Columbus, especially in the last 7 days when people could both register and vote on the same day.
I wrote about Shelby Holliday’s story on a homeless man voting in Ohio before going back ‘home’ to Chicago.
I’ve just seen this video with Tiffany Wilson, also from Palestra.net, reporting to Fox News about a conversation with a volunteer who was encouraging people to vote for Obama.
Wilson said the volunteer was from Faith Vote Columbus, a non-partisan organization doing get-out-the-vote efforts.

Boehner has been at the forefront in spotlighting this fraud and has been insistent that something be done about it. His office has issued this latest statement in pursuit of free, fair and legal elections.

Boston Herald’s Master Work of Subtle McCain Slams, Obama Praises

If you want to see an example of the media employing a subtle undercurrent of disdain for Republicans and praise for Democrats, you can’t get any better example than the masterful effort at left leaning propaganda that the Boston Herald unleashed on October 26. Even the headline is artful for the negative image in which it casts McCain’s actions while simultaneously presenting Obama as the innocent victim. The subtlety is amazing and really must be seen to be believed.
With the very headline we see that nasty McCain and the obviously innocent Obama as the Herald sternly informs us that, “John McCain keeps swinging socialist hammer at Barack Obama.” That mean, “hammering” McCain “swinging” that obviously absurd claim that the Marxist is a socialist! Imagine. The negative image of McCain being an aggressor is painfully obvious.
The first paragraph continues the negative framing of McCain and the portrayal of Obama, the “light worker,” as the aggrieved victim.
When New Media Goes Bad

The world of the New Media can be a treacherous land to navigate. People would be excused to wonder what it’s all about and to approach it in confusion. You have the funny, the profane, the boring, the absurd. You have many political sites like DailyKos and DemmocraticUnderground that aren’t at all interested in truth or balance. But, with most of those types of sites you know right off that they aren’t to be taken seriously. Yet still, they are all as easily found as the news sites like ABC, CNN, Fox News or The New York Times.
It’s one thing to know when a site is not to be taken seriously. DailyKos and the like are obvious for the over-the-top silliness. One knows at the outset that some sites are not serious news outlets. But, it’s the ones that pretend at seriousness of which one must be wary.
One such site is AmericanChronicle.com. The Amer. Chronicle site seeks to be a place of reasoned debate, serious opinions, a place where readers can trust the “news” presented. The folks there tout their work as “an online magazine for national, international, state, local, entertainment, sports, and government news.” So, they mean to be taken seriously.
