The Obamatons opened a new campaign office in a strip mall in Las Vegas. (Sent along by http://elizabethcrum.blogivists.com)

Here is a photo of the store front…

Too bad the Obmatons don’t realize just how TRUE their signage is.

Instant Tax, indeed. Let’s hope what is in Vegas STAYS in Vegas!

Now with gasoline around $2.50 a gallon in much of the country the clock has been turned back to 2005 as far as transportation cost is concerned. However, the price of gasoline in any area is very dependent on the taxing policies of the various states. We have confusion once again with the Democrats regarding the high price of gasoline and oil versus the credit market meltdown. The Democrat’s talking points are the greedy oil speculators caused the run up of oil prices and the greedy bankers made loans to people who couldn’t afford them. As usual, Democrats are busy pointing the finger at everyone else but themselves because they aren’t willing to be a part of the solution. You can’t be part of the solution if you aren’t willing to take responsibility for your part in what went wrong, thus the Democrats have nothing in their grab bag of give-aways that will address any of the economic issues. Their only solution is to tread water until someone else comes along to save them, hence the banking, auto industry and insurance company credit bailouts. Treading water is a very short term solution that only delays the inevitable if nothing else changes.

Forget the Internet, Let the ‘Established’ Media Tell You About it

John Hollenhorst, reporter for KSL TV in Salt Lake City, Utah, wants you to forget about all those gosh darn Internet rumors. In fact, forget the Internet altogether and just rely on the “established news organizations” to tell you what is what. After all, it’s just too darn hard for the common folks to figure it all out. Alarmingly the “21st Century is putting a higher responsibility on voters to seek out the truth and ignore the ridiculous.” Imagine? Requiring citizens to go to all the trouble of actually seeking out the truth and learning about what a candidate really stands for? What a bother.

But, reporter Hollenhorst and his “expert” have the solution: Don’t bother and just make the Old Media your source for news. After all, the Old Media is the only one to be believed because they’ve got “the greatest credibility.” Right Dan Rather?

Hollenhorst’s report is a cornucopia of condescension. It appears to inform us that American citizens are just to stupid to separate the wheat from the chaff and to determine what are mere unsubstantiated rumors about Obama and McCain and what is real and to be trusted.

Sen. Obama, Stand and Deliver!

The recent ruling by the Hon. R. Barclay Surrick dismissing the lawsuit challenging Barack Obama’s citizenship, brought by former Deputy Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Democratic county chair Phillip Berg, presents the genesis of a Constitutional Crisis. While Barack Obama’s refusal to satisfy the citizens’ request to validate his citizenship illustrates his unbridled arrogance and that of his campaign and supporters, it also exposes the fact that politics, at the hands of political opportunists and ideologues, has usurped the legitimate execution of the supreme law of the land; the United States Constitution.

Make no mistake. I do not support Barack Obama in his quest for the presidency. I find his political ideology to embrace a one-world ideology borrowing heavily from the Marxist-Leninist dogma. But, if in fact he is a legal and naturally born citizen of the United States of America, if he thoroughly satisfies the requirements as set forth in Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, then I will defend his right to be placed on ballots across our nation. My concern is not partisan, it is constitutional.

Wave of First Time Voters Just a Trickle?

-By Warner Todd Huston

When George McGovern ran for president against Richard Nixon in 1972 the conventional wisdom before the polls opened was that the vaunted first-time voters among the youth of America were going to propel McGovern to victory. It was the first time that those under 21-years-old could vote and many imagined that young people in amazing numbers would turn out for the Democrats. The conventional wisdom in 1972, however, was wrong. The youth vote did not propel McGovern into the White House. Despite the probably apocryphal claim by Pauline Kael that she never met anyone who voted for Nixon, he won in a landslide.

Today we are once again faced with the conventional wisdom that the kiddies are going to come out in droves to vote for The One and propel Barack Obama and his message of hope-n-change into the Oval Office. But, are they? If they are, shouldn’t we be seeing this gigantic youth vote reflected in the polls? Certainly one would think so, but Gallup, for one, has found that young voters are not registering in droves and the numbers of first-time voters does not appear any larger than they were in the 2004 general election.

These surveys seem to argue against a great wave of young and first-time voters being driven to the polls by love for Europe’s favorite candidate.

In Ohio, Now A Park Bench Qualifies as an Address for Voting

We can mark U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus as a proponent of vote fraud in Ohio thanks to his latest ruling to allow incorrectly completed provisional ballots to be counted anyway… oh, and a park bench now qualifies as an address for voter registration.

A federal judge in Ohio has ruled that counties must allow homeless voters to list park benches and other locations that aren’t buildings as their addresses.

Sargus, a heavy contributor to the Democratic Party and a Clinton appointee was also apparently the first Federal judge in history to ever favor the Socialist Party USA in a ballot access case.

So, our electoral system is in the hands of a Democrat hack with sympathies for the Socialist Party? No wonder he likes Obama!

A popular professor of environmental geology seems to be under attack by the University of Oklahoma because of his skepticism over global warming this month.

In October Dr. David Deming, a teacher for the U of OK for over a decade, was informed that his “general education” certification was being revoked for his class. This will result in many students passing over his class when they choose their classes in the future.

Deming says that he has a consistent record of outstanding student evaluations and has no idea why the university has decided to punish him like this unless it is because of his stance on global warming.

Democrats Give out Soc. Sec. #’s of Opponent and Wife

Democrats in Boise, Idaho are pretending they’ve done nothing wrong, as Democrats are wont, wide-eyed in amazement that anyone would question their morality after they produced a political mailer that gave out the Social Security numbers of a political opponent in a 1st Congressional District race there.

The Republican, Bill Sali and his wife Terry, found their SS# printed on a mailer put out by the Idaho Democratic Party that raises concerns about past due taxes that the Sali family had earlier in their marriage. The mailer contained copies of records of the Sali’s past tax problems in an effort to call into question his fiscal responsibility.

For his part, Jim Hansen, executive director of the Idaho Democratic Party, protests innocence pointing out that the records are publicly available. And then, to try and misdirect from the issue, Hansen says that if Sali doesn’t want his SS# broadcast to everyone he should have paid his taxes. “If he was going to be upset,” Hansen said “he probably should have paid off his bills and his taxes.”

Sec. Rokita has asked requested state authorities prosecute ACORN for their illegal actions in a letter sent to Lake County Prosecutor Bernard A. Carter, U.S. Attorney David Capp and Michael Welch, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Indianapolis office.

Now, after Wright is seen screaming for God to “damn America” and now that Wright has become problematic, Obama throws him under the buss and the man Obama’s known and professed love and admiration for is suddenly “not the man he thought he knew”!

Which Obama is telling the truth, though. The one pandering for votes or the one that agrees that God should damn America?

All They Need is Love — Obama’s Record Doesn’t Matter To Many

There is little doubt that Barack Hussein Obama is an empty suit. You know it and I know it. In fact, I know it even better because I am from Illinois. I’ve watched Barack do practically nothing for an entire political career in State government, save vote on the extreme left every time he bothered to — which wasn’t too often. He has the worst absentee and “present” vote record of any Illinois politician.

But, when he did vote it was usually for two purposes. The first one was to follow the hard-left line, and the second to gather influential friends that would give him money.

He is well known, for instance, for his vote to withhold emergency care to babies who suffered the failed attempts of an abortion but were born anyway. The legislation called the “Born-Alive Act” in Illinois would have made it illegal to allow babies born in such horrid conditions to die of neglect. He did this because he felt there was a long-shot chance that the bill might be used to undermine abortion. This bipartisan bill had a lot of supporters, but Obama was not one of them. He has been a strong abortion advocate since day one. The man has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood.

Well, last week we discovered that saying Obama is a socialist is racist code. For quite a while we’ve been told that saying his middle name is racist. Saying he pals around with terrorists is racist. Not voting for him is racist. Wanna know what else is racist? Dressing as Obama for Halloween…. but only if you’re a white kid. So says the Columbus Dispatch (Ohio), anyway.

This’ll break the hearts of little Obamatons and their sycophantic parents all across the nation for this Halloween season, sadly enough. But, if you don’t want to be considered a low-down, four-flushing racist, you little Obamites better not do it. Just say nO, kids. The Dispatch’s Kathy Lynn Gray has saved the day, though. She’s warned us ahead of time that Dressing like The One is racist as all get out.

Jesse Ventura, when he’s not talking about 9-11, makes a lot of sense.

Describing the two party system to Larry King, he said: “[W]hat you have today is like walking into the grocery store and you go to the soft drink department, and there is only Pepsi and Coke. Those are the two you get to choose from. There is no Mountain Dew, no Root Beer, no Orange. They’re both Colas; one is slightly sweeter than the other, depending on which side of the aisle you are on.”

In an interview with Newsmax, he described politicians in the two party system as pro wrestlers. “In pro wrestling, out in front of the people, we make it look like we all hate each other and want to beat the crap out of each other, and that’s how we get your money, [and get you to] come down and buy tickets. They’re the same thing. Out in front of the public and the cameras, they hate each other, are going to beat the crap out of each other, but behind the scenes they’re all going to dinner, cutting deals. And [they’re] doing what we did, too — laughing all the way to the bank. And that to me is what you have today, in today’s political world, with these two parties.”

Governor Warns of Massive Vote Fraud in Missouri

A few days ago, Missouri Governor Matt Blunt issued a warning to the state that, contrary to recent claims, vote fraud was happening in Missouri.

Gov. Blunt reminded everyone that he’d became Sec. of State right after the 2000 election and investigated the massive fraud that happened in that election and he sees it all happening again, especially in St. Louis.

Contrary to assertions that voter fraud has not occurred in Missouri, my report found that well over 1,000 improper ballots were cast in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Further my report found that there was in St. Louis an organized and successful effort to generate improper votes in large numbers.

And guess what organization Blunt found was responsible for vote fraud in 2006?

Greta Van Susteren had an interesting one the other day. Student journalists Tiffany Wilson and Shelby Holliday have been following and ably reporting on Ohio vote fraud issues for the student journalist site Palestra.net. (See their latest report)

The pair’s hottest story is the tale about a house full of out-of-state “voters” that have illegally registered to vote in Ohio. By their reporting, Wilson and Holliday have forced the Ohio Sec. of State to investigate and invalidate these fraudulent registrations.

Well, it seems that a lawyer with the Obama team has sent the girls a threatening letter warning them in ominous overtones that he’ll be watching them and that they better “watch what they say.”

Ohio A Hotbed of Vote Fraud in 2008

The Cleveland Plain Dealer is touting triumphantly that Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner is predicting an 80% voter turnout in the 2008 election. This would be an amazing statistic if true.

“Every day people from across Ohio are expressing their confidence in our bipartisan election system by taking part in the absentee voting process,” Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner said in a statement. “We will continue to prepare for anticipated 80 percent voter turnout, ensuring a successful November general election.”

Cuyahoga County led in the request of absentee ballots by mail, with more than 228,000 followed by Franklin with just over 208,000 requests. Brunner has predicted nearly 6.5 million Ohioans – about 80 percent of the state’s registered voters – will vote in this year’s presidential election and that one-third of those ballots could be absentee.

There is no doubt that Cuyahoga County is “leading” in this year’s vote situation. But, unfortunately, that “leading” seems to be in fraud, not legal, proper votes.

According to a graph from the Columbus Dispatch, Cuyahoga County has just over one million registered voters (1,096,449). The number just in January stood at 973,831, so Cuyahoga County saw a 13% increase in registrations in the last 10 months. Brunner noted that 228,000 absentee ballots were mailed out to registered voters in Cuyahoga County. Another 6,951 already voted early as of Oct 8.

Looks like the democratic spirit has hit Cuyahoga hard, eh? Isn’t it wonderful to see all these patriotic folks registering and voting, doing their civic duty?

Well, it would be if only all the numbers matched. According to the U.S. Census Bureau there are only 1,314,241 people in all of Cuyahoga County of which 24% is under 18 and ineligible to vote. Yet they are showing a registration of 1,096,449 million voters? It turns out there are more voters registered in Cuyahoga County than actually exist.

Philly Inquirer: All Whites are Racists, ‘Shouldn’t be Allowed to Vote’

Did you know that all white people are so racist that they shouldn’t be allowed to vote? Did you know that people who are armed are stupid? Did you know that President Bush caused 9/11? Oh, and did you know that most of Pennsylvania is a “long dark chicken dance of the national soul”? Well, the Philadelphia Inquirer would like to school you in these “facts.” And, if you disagree? Well, who cares what you think anyway? You’re a gun loving, bitter racist, so who cares what you think? So proudly says PI columnist Jonathan Valania.

This is probably one of the most shocking, hate filled columns I’ve seen outside a KKK website, or the Communist Party Daily, for a long, long time. And that it comes from a leading national newspaper in one of our founding American cities, well, that makes it all the more outrageous. But right there in the Philly Inquirer we see it: “White people shouldn’t be allowed to vote.” And in case you are confused, the subhead brings it into sharper focus: “It’s for the good of the country and for those who’re bitter for a reason and armed because they’re scared.”

This unAmerican piece of elitist hectoring is brought to us in the name of “tolerance” and for the singular purpose to elect the most radically leftist candidate for president this nation has seen since Eugene Debbs and Norman Thomas.

MSNBC/AP say Player Injury Palin’s Fault

Well, that mean ol’ Sarah Palin ruined everything for the St. Louis Blues hockey team, darn it all. That’s right the media’s newest Cheney replacement must have been planning this monstrous attack on the Blues’ goalie for weeks. Her next trick: world domination. At least this seems to be how MSNBC and the Associated Press feel about it all.

What am I talking about? Well, Palin visited the Blues’ arena to see a game on October 24 and it seems that Blues goalie Manny Legace tripped on the carpet that the team laid on the ice so that Palin and her family could walk safely out to address the crowd. Because of that injury, the AP and MSNBC both decided that this accident was all Palin’s fault. Really.

Right on the MSNBC homepage is a link to the story in the sports section and on that homepage the story is headlined “Goalie’s injury linked to Palin’s puck drop.” (see screen shot below) It’s as if Palin’s “puck drop” caused the injury. Though, one easily gets the feeling that the situation is closer to an outbreak of PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome).

Union Chief Forced Charity Employees to do Political Work

It the investigation into the corruption of Calif. SEIU head Tyrone Freeman keeps getting better… well, actually worse. Now it is being revealed that Service Employees International Union chief Freeman regularly forced employees of a charity he headed to do political hack work — a practice barred by law.

Six people who worked for either the union or the charity told The Times that Freeman, and others at the labor organization acting on his behalf, ordered the nonprofit’s staffers to join partisan get-out-the-vote drives and other campaign efforts during and after their regular hours. The former employees spoke on condition of anonymity because they feared retaliation and legal jeopardy.

The former workers say that employees were required to distribute fliers, walk precincts and staff phone banks for individual candidates and the Democratic ticket during the days leading up to primary and general elections.

Naturally, Freeman is giving that innocent look of “what, me?” He is denying all allegations despite the several workers and other witnesses saying the opposite.

Like the old saying goes, deny, deny, deny.

This weekend I joined a new family. The members of this family speak fluent German, French, Italian, Polish, Russian. They also speak fluent Chinese, Japanese, Tagalog. And they speak English in the accents of at least five different nations. Lastly, the heart of this family is a group of women who are all at least eighty years old.

As I write this, I’m at the annual reunion of the WW II War Brides Association. The children of war brides and their spouses are also welcome here. But the raison d’etre is the women, like my mother-in-law, who was raised in Paris, married an American soldiers right after the end of WW II, and came to the United States to live.

A large number of the war brides are from England, for a logical reason. The G.I.s spent more time in that country, preparing and staging for the invasions of North Africa, Italy, and finally France, then they spent on the ground anywhere else. A large number are also from Australia, since G.I.s staged there for the attacks “up the islands,” as they say, from the Philippines to Japan.

The date is November 9, 2010, and you turn on the radio to listen to the news over morning coffee. Economic times have been tough, and you’re not expecting much to uplift the soul. Yet, what you hear still makes your blood run cold.

Nuclear devices have been detonated almost simultaneously in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. Tens of thousands are dead or dying, and millions more are being evacuated, owing to radioactive contamination that will now make huge swaths of the cities uninhabitable.

President Obama is currently on the air addressing the nation. Everything he says sounds reassuring and mellifluous, just like it always does, just like it always has. Right now he is talking about the emergency response and government efforts to help the victims and apprehend the perpetrators. He speaks of how we must pray for our fellow Americans.

More information will be forthcoming, and we will see his calm countenance on TV and hear his resonant, composed voice again. Of that you can be sure.

But there is something he won’t tell us.

There is something he will never tell us.

Barack Obama wants to institute communism and wants to eliminate the Constitution of the United States. Is THIS the man you want for president? this man is no Democrat. He’s a traitor to the most important ideas of our nation.

Pew: McCain Gets Far More Negative Coverage From Media

As if we didn’t know already by the evidence of the left-wing media establishment’s work, Pew Research unveiled a new survey that showed that John McCain has been on the receiving end of “heavily unfavorable” coverage. In fact, according to Pew, McCain’s media coverage has become more negative over time with unfavorable stories about him outweighing favorable ones “by a factor of more than three-to-one.” Pew finds that McCain’s negative stories are the highest from among all four major candidates.

First of all, we should remember that the Pew survey was drawn from news coverage — opinion pieces were not included. So, if we were to add all the opinion editorials emanating from the Old Media, the unfavorables for McCain and Palin would soar to unprecedented heights. But, Op-Eds aside and with the fact that we are talking “news,” it is still amazing to note the highly negative tone leveled at McCain.

Pew found that, for McCain “nearly six-in-ten stories studied were decidedly negative in nature (57%), while fewer than two-in-ten (14%) were positive.”

Barack Obama’s short but illuminating conversation with Samuel “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher has ushered the subject of Socialism to center stage. By stating that he champions an economic policy that would “spread the wealth around,” Senator Obama alarmed many Americans who recognize the parallels between his statement and one espoused by French Socialist Louis Blanc in 1840:

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs!”

In defense of his statement, Obama, his campaign and his massive army of Obamabot surrogates have come out hard against those who are making the correlation between the Obama economic agenda and the Marxist economic model.

During a campaign stop in Richmond, Virginia, Obama scoffed at the charge that his economic policies were born of Socialist ideology and the Marxist influence predominant among the adults who surrounded him in his youth, calling the use of such “implausible” arguments an, “indication they have run out of ideas.”
