From the Kelly Truth Squad Radio Show…
(CHICAGO) – The Kelly Truth Squad on AM 560 WIND is pleased to announce its move to a new primetime time slot at 6 pm beginning this Saturday. The political entertainment program is hosted by Emmy-nominated TV personality, William J. Kelly, who also pens Bill Kelly’s Truth Squad and the Tea Party Report for the Washington Times Communities. The host is known for his high octane political antics with an entertainment bent.
Last Sunday night, Kelly stepped into the middle of the Jesse Jackson Jr. controversy. Jackson, who has been linked to Giovanna Huidobro in an adulterous affair, has more trouble on the horizon as more details surface about his dealings with indicted Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Trying to help the DC hostess get a “fresh start,” Kelly contacted Huidobro at her DC nightclub hostessing job at the Ozio Lounge to offer her a job as a radio contributor to his program.
“This (Jackson’s behavior) shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone,” said Kelly. “The Jackson family has a sordid history of abusing their positions for political and business gain. From the manipulation of Ms. Huidobro and pay-off attempt to buy President Obama’s Senate seat to Rev. Jesse Jackson’s boycott scam of Anheuser Busch for financial gain, the public needs some answers and we need them now.”
“Back in 1998, the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s sons were handed Budweiser’s River North/Chicago distributorship in exchange for him dropping the Anheuser Busch boycott,” said Kelly. “Today, I am calling for a boycott of Budweiser in the River North area – I think the people of Chicago and Illinois need to hit the Jackson family where it hurts – in their dirty pocketbooks. Then and only then will we have a chance at getting the truth.”
Kelly has christened his boycott campaign against the Jackson family, “This Dud’s a Bud,” – a biting callback to Jackson’s 1982 boycott campaign of Budweiser, “This Bud’s a Dud.”
