Portland atheist Mark Hecate is mad that someone made him look like a devil.
A pro-atheism billboard in Portland, Oregon was defaced causing the atheist group that paid for the sign upset that they had been “demonized.”

Pro-atheist billboard defaced in Portland, Oregon
The billboard featured Mr. Hecate next to the phrase, “This is what an atheist looks like.” The billboard campaign was meant to convey the idea that atheists are somehow just like you and me.
But some wag with a spraypaint can thought it would be funny to paint devil horns on ol’ Mark’s head making him into a devil.
A spokesperson for the atheist group was none too happy over the graffiti.
“[The vandalism] reveals how non-believers are still stigmatized, even in a community like Portland, where statistics show that a quarter of the population identifies as non-religious,” Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, which sponsored the billboard, told Oregon Live on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
“Atheists don’t have horns … it is literally demonizing us,” Gaylor added.
OK, OK, I am not condoning the destruction or defacement of private property, granted. But there is something kind of funny, here.
So, atheists hate God, right? They think God is a non-existent entity, a myth, a farce.
Now, if they think God is fake, wouldn’t they think that the devil is fake?
And if they think the devil is fake… why are they upset at having devil horns painted on one of their members? I mean, if the devil s a myth, why get so upset over a silly story character?
Right?
Yet, here they are, all mad that their billboard was defaced with devil horns.
Curious.
