Now Obama Wants to Bring Back Deported People Who are Mentally Ill
-By Warner Todd Huston
Apparently getting rid of dangerous, mentally ill illegal immigrants wasn’t good enough for the U.S. government because now a federal judge has decreed that every mentally ill illegal sent back to where they belonged should be brought back to the U.S. And guess who this idiot judge wants to pay for all this re-importing of dangerous, mentally ill illegals? Yeah, you guessed it on the first try.
A judge in (where else but) California has decreed that hundreds of mentally ill illegals who “represented themselves” at their deportation hearings were illicitly deported because they weren’t mentally competent to do so and now deserve to be brought back to the US–at our expense–for yet another trial with a lawyer provided–yes, again at our expense–so that they can have another shot to stay in the US and get free mental help–aaaaand, yes, all at our expense.
As the Associated Press reported late last week:
Federal Judge Dolly M. Gee’s ruling will let immigrants with serious mental disabilities request to have their cases reopened in hopes of returning to the U.S. The ruling covers immigrants deported from California, Arizona and Washington between Nov. 21, 2011 and Jan. 27 this year.
Naturally the ACLU loves this idiotic ruling.
The AP notes that nearly 1,000 illegals who were deported will now be able to have the American people foot their bill to return and make yet another case to stay in the US.
Naturally, Obama’s administration has agreed to pay all the expenses for these dangerous criminals.
This is all a result of a 2013 court ruling that demanded that the federal government give free lawyers to illegals deemed mentally incompetent to represent themselves at deportation hearings. So, now they are looking backwards in time for people a ruling like this would have affected if the ruling was in place when they were deported.
So, now the Obama administration wants to keep predators, murderers, rapists, and misfits because they might be “mentally incompetent”? These are the very first people we should be sending back to their place of origin! It is their own country’s duty to care for them, not ours.
Sadly, it seems clear that Obama wants as many Kate Steinles as possible to happen in this country.
Couple that with Obama’s decision to ignore the advice of six national security advisers not to release from GITMO Osama bin Laden’s bodyguard, Abdul Shalabi, a man who had engaged in a 9-year personal war against the US. And this isn’t even to mention that disastrous nuke deal Obama made with Iran that aims to arm one of the most dangerous nations on earth with nuclear weapons and freed up billions of frozen Iranian assets, some of which has already gone to export terrorism.
It all adds up to the clear reality that Obama thinks his job is to endanger the country.
