With Anti-Trump Hysteria, Creepy Liberals Are Proving How Disgusting They Really Are

-By Warner Todd Huston

As the weeks between Election Day and Inauguration day tick down, the hate-filled, distempered, downright mentally deranged reaction of liberals of all stripes to the coming Trump era is jarring to say the least. So much for the more caring, more adult, smarter, and more serious liberals we were told were going to rule the country in 2008 when Obama first won the White House.

The liberal cause has been in meltdown since election night, certainly. But it has continued for these many weeks after the morning of November 9 when we all finally discovered that Hillary lost the election. The left immediately made itself look like some of the biggest hypocrites in history — or should I say hysteria — by going from “accept the results of the election” to “we have a duty to reject the result of the election” in the space of about 10 hours.

This is when the liberal meltdown really began. In the early hours of November 9, hours after the polls closed, the media finally brought itself to declare Trump the winner of the Electoral College (the only vote that matters) despite their weeping and gnashing of teeth.

First we were treated to ABC’s Martha Radditz as she almost began weeping openly over Hillary’s loss. Even Trump made fun of that one.

But that was just the beginning. The public display of mental illness was only just beginning. Next came the exclamations that Trump didn’t *really* win because Hillary won the popular vote and liberals began to openly discuss ways of toppling Trump from his proclaimed win of the presidency.

These calls for disregarding the results of the election started within hours of Trump’s win and made a complete reversal of the left’s haughty tsk tsking at Trump who in the last debate had refused to say he’d automatically accept the results of the election.

Hillary immediately made it a campaign issue and actually said Trump was “destroying our democracy” and the media took up her stump issue with gusto. The Washington Post, for instance, called Trump’s refusal a “horrifying repudiation of U.S. democracy.”

But all that immediately went out the window when Trump won the election.

By afternoon on the day after Election Day, liberals were already flooding the streets to protest the peaceful transfer of power and working to undermine President Donald Trump before he even took office… or even before he is officially designated by the final meeting of the Electoral College or Congress that he was the President.

One particular protest even featured those oh, so kind liberals calling for the deaths of Trump voters.

But the inciting to violence kicked off before the last votes were even reported with a hate-filled rant by socialist ad CNN commentator Van Jones.

We’ve talked about race — we’ve talked about everything but race tonight. … This was a whitelash. This was a whitelash against a changing country. It was a whitelash against a black president, in part. And that’s the part where the pain comes. And Donald Trump has a responsibility tonight to come out and reassure people that he is going to be the president of all the people who he insulted and offended and brushed aside. Yeah, when you say you want to take your country back, you’ve got a lot of people who feel that we’re not represented well either, but we don’t want to feel that someone has been elected by throwing away some of us to appeal more deeply to others. So, we — this is a deeply painful moment tonight. I know it’s not just about race. There’s more going on than that, but race is here too.

If the media encourages you to feel the election is all about a racist America keeping you down, why would you accept the results?

Then came the moves to force recounts in only the few states where a Trump loss would overturn the November 8 election results.

The recounts, yet another scheme to topple the election, was launched by the Green Party’s Jill Stein who spent about two weeks attempting to get three states, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, to do a full blown hand recount.

Her scheme had two goals. First, the public face of the effort was to “prove” that Hillary really won, not Trump. Stein claimed that a recount would show that the election was “hacked” by Russian hackers and the votes for Trump would wither away with a hand recount. But the real reason for the recounts in these states was to delay the final tally of their votes and prevent them from being recorded in Trump’s favor. If these states never got their count recorded by the deadline, so the reasoning went, Trump would lose.

Essentially, Stein was attempting to disenfranchise the voters of three entire states.

But all the recounts failed. Trump still won.

Then came the “faithless electors” scheme where liberals began to hector and threaten violence upon the electors whose job it was on December 19 to add their vote to the Electoral College count in each state.

With the left’s newest attempt to destroy the election, we got an entire week of liberal news outlets ladling this fake news story out onto consumers of news. Day upon day we were told of the liberal professor who was so gosh darn sure that 20 electors would flip from Trump to Hillary and Trump would lose the EC vote and the White House. We got this story even though this “professor” is a well-known liberal operative who has been caught many times in the past massaging the truth to sell a liberal agenda.

Only days after this absurd claim of “faithless electors” flipping to Trump, the Electoral College members met in their states across the country and cast almost exactly the same number of EC votes for Trump that we understood he’d get on Election Day. In fact, it was Hillary who lost more EC votes than any candidate in recent history as Bernie Sanders fans, some of whom happened to have an EC vote, launched a protest against the Democrat nominee.

So, yeah, that backfired on liberals, too.

But in the mean time we’ve had a long list of other examples of the liberal meltdown.

In one example a group of hack artists in New York City banded together to *demand* that Ivanka Trump remove from her walls the artworks that they happily sold to her for tens of thousands of dollars in years past. These “artists” became enraged after the election when their artworks turned up adorning the walls of her New York home as seen in a series of photos of her apartment that were made public.

The effort to force Ivanaka to remove this so-called art was launched by the Halt Action Group, founded by New York art curator Alison Gingeras, art dealer Bill Powers, Jonathan Horowitz, and a group of others associated with the Big Apple’s art scene.

Of course, these “artists” have no right whatever to demand Ivanka remove the paintings from her walls. After all, they sold their paintings to her and now they are her damn property, not theirs.

This attack on Ivanka’s art is interesting in another vein, too. After all, whenever photographers and cake designers — who are arguably also artists — have refused to deal with gay weddings, liberals have insisted that they have no right whatever to deny their labors to gays. But now that they hate Trump and Ivanka, these same type of people are saying they have a right to deny the results of their own labors to the Trumps.

Speaking of Ivanka, this very week when she was traveling with her children on a Jet Blue flight, an ignoramus liberal started screaming at her and caused such a disruption that he was deservedly thrown off the flight.

Then there was the liberal who killed a UPS driver because he thought he was Donald Trump. And speaking of outright crimes, the murder case is only part of a long, long list of fake hate crimes perpetrated by liberals who are trying to smear Donald Trump voters.

And this isn’t even to mention the many Hollywood “celebrities” attacking, badmouthing, name calling, and lying about conservatives and Trump, and his voters.

Yes all of this and more the left has perpetrated since November 8. But without question their behavior is exactly the sort of stuff they attacked conservatives, white people, tea partiers and Republicans for supposedly committing throughout Barack Obama’s presidency. The only difference here is, liberals today are actually committing the sins they falsely laid at the feet of conservatives for the last nine years.
