People Without Integrity Reject Facts About Homosexuality!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Following are stark, shocking, and serious facts about homosexuality along with a few opinions. Remember that everyone has a right to his own opinion but no one has a right to his own facts. People with integrity accept facts even if those facts bruise their opinions. There are a few honest, informed homosexuals who agree with every point I will make! Most of the media are too cowardly to recognize, accept, or publish the following.

Homosexuals are not “born that way,” and any study of the facts will support that; however, most politicians, pundits, psychologists, and preachers are too lazy or bigoted to learn and accept the truth. Even the very pro-homosexual American Psychological Association has returned to reality and in the last couple of months declared: “There are no scientific findings that a person is born homosexual.” One of their brochures declares: “There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops s heterosexual, bisexual, gay or lesbian orientation.”

Contrary to the dishonest, leftist propaganda, once into the pathetic lifestyle homosexuals can escape. A recent comprehensive study published in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy determined that “some people can indeed move from homosexuality to heterosexuality, and that harm is unlikely to result from such efforts.”

Mitt Romney Stealth Promotion of Gay ‘Rights’ And Gay Marriage in Mass.

Friend to the blog John Biver sends along an interesting press release about a new book about Mitt Romney’s “stealth promotion” of Gay “rights” and gay marriage when he was Governor of Massachusetts.

+++++

Just released: Amy Contrada’s blockbuster book on Mitt Romney’s stealth promotion of the homosexual agenda in Massachusetts.

MassResistance pro-family activist Amy Contrada has just released her definitive study of Mitt Romney’s role in implementing ‘gay marriage,’ promoting GLBT ‘rights,’ and supporting the sexual-radical agenda in the Massachusetts schools while Governor.

Titled, “Mitt Romney’s Deception: His Stealth Promotion of ‘Gay Rights’ and ‘Gay Marriage’ in Massachusetts,” it is a fascinating and thorough record of the sexual-radical activism that took place during that time, whether for same-sex ‘marriage’ or school programs promoting GLBT ‘rights.’ It contains a lot of information never published before.

The book is a rare combination of political history and analysis, enlivened by uncompromising commentary from a front-line activist. Contrada documents how Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney actively supported the homosexual and transgender agenda on same-sex ‘marriage,’ sexual-radical indoctrination in the schools, and societal transformation – while posing as a defender of the Constitution and traditional family values.

Marriage Adviser Caves – Satan Not in LGBT?

I comb the news each week looking for what might inform and above all help the Christian community to stay strong in the faith. I have refused automatic news scripts, and handpicked each piece. My sense of responsibility goes beyond my articles but it encompasses everything on our website. Everything is geared to enhance, strengthen and inform the believer and appeal to the better sensibilities of the non-believer.

Occasional an article or report leaves me speechless, while another may invoke anger or great sadness. The Washington Post published just such an article on November 4, 2011, entitled, “Marriage adviser resigns over Satan homosexuality column.”

Some teachings of the Bible are explicit while others are implied but the teaching about demons and devils is as explicit as it gets. Those who decide to make careers out of sin and perversion are most assuredly called the sons and daughters of the devil. The Bible is not squeamish about it but actually puts Satan’s own together with perversion.

Here is one example. “And said, O full of all subtlety and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?” (Acts 13: 10)

Illinois Government’s War Against Religious Child Services Continues

Earlier this year the State of Illinois moved to force religious-based children’s services to break their religious principles and give children in their charge to homosexual couples. Organizations such as Catholic Charities have been told by the state that they either break their religious principles or face being shut down by the state. So, pursuant to that agenda, the state has determined that all children currently in the hands of religious adoption agencies need to be removed immediately.

Representing Catholic Charities of three Illinois Roman Catholic Dioceses, the Thomas Moore Society filed an emergency motion to prevent the state from removing all the children in its care. Unfortunately, an Illinois appellate court refused to overturn the trial court’s decision to remove the children during the appeal process in which lawyers are now engaged. (Filings here and here.)

Still, other motions made in the emergency motion were granted. Thomas Moore informs that the matter “is now on an expedited schedule for briefing in the Appellate Court.” The fate of the children remains unknown at this point.

Pro-Family Leaders Question Double-Standard on Hate Crimes – Homosexual Attackers Threaten More Violence against Illinois Christian School

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Illinois – A coalition of ministers and pro-family advocates is questioning the double-standard on “hate crimes” in the wake of an attack Saturday against Christian Liberty Academy (CLA) – which was threatened with more violence if it continues to host conservative groups like Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH).

Assailants threw two large paver bricks through the glass doors of CLA with a note, “This is just a sample of what we will do if you don’t shut down Scott Lively and AFTAH.” On a left-wing Chicago website, the alleged attackers took credit for the crime and wrote:

Obama Mixes Clay with Iron – 2012 America’s Valley of Decision?

As the economy crashes around us Mr. Obama seems content to continue tinkering with the social fabric of the nation as the elected voice of the far left ideologues and the throngs of citizens who are content to let government collect taxes and make regulations; as long as they can continue in personal prurient pursuits that would make our forefathers cringe.

Social tinkering may be second only to golf for this president. Obama’s public stance on marriage has changed several times since his days as a senator, but now with his influence as president his final stated position seems to have come full circle. His choice to instruct the Attorney General not to defend the Defense of Marriage Act, (DOMA) says it all.

How convenient that Obama happens to be speaking at the “Gala with the Gay Community” this week in New York on the same day a vote may be made in the New York state senate on the redefinition of marriage. A little presidential boost could seriously affect the outcome of that vote. Coincidence; don’t count on it. But at the top of the news, troop withdrawals from Afghanistan have swept away our attention.

On Wednesday afternoon’s Hugh Hewitt radio show GOP hopeful Jon Huntsman said that he’d support an assault weapons ban and would not support the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), the latter because he supports civil unions. Hours later the Huntsman campaign reversed its candidate’s statement saying he misunderstood the question. He would veto an assault weapons ban, they claimed.

First of all, here is exactly what Huntsman said when host Hewitt asked if he’d veto an assault weapons ban if he were president: “I would not veto an assault weapons ban.” That seems pretty clear, no?…

New Civil Unions Law Already Infringing on Religious Freedom

(Grayslake, IL – June 2, 2011) Illinois’ Civil Unions law went into effect June 1, and even State Sen. David Koehler, sponsor of the bill in the senate, is frustrated with its repercussions to religious freedom. Koehler made it clear that the law, ironically named “The Religious Freedom Protection Act and Civil Union Act,” was intended to protect the rights of social service organizations, including adoption agencies, to carry out their duties according to their faith.

But months ago, activists began challenging the ability of religious childcare agencies to prohibit the placement of children with same-sex couples, so Sen. Koehler proposed a religious exemption amendment to protect the rights of these agencies. Despite lobbying by Catholic Charities and other organizations, the amendment was defeated in the Senate Executive Committee.

The very creepy sexualization of young children, a part of the teachers unions’ progressive agenda, goes on unabated.

In the past few years, teachers unions in the United States have gotten into the perverse business of sexualizing children. I first wrote about this phenomenon several years ago. In 2004, the National Education Association gave its prestigious Human Rights Award to Kevin Jennings, the founder of the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN) and the man who eventually became President Obama’s school safety czar. GLSEN is the group that presided over the infamous “Fistgate” conference held at Tufts University in Massachusetts in March 2000, where state employees gave explicit instructions about “fisting” and other forms of gay sexual activity to children as young as 12. The conference was secretly recorded and can be heard here. (Warning: The contents are extraordinarily vile.)

Then this past March, I dug up a story about an NEA “trainer of trainers” who at a U.N. conference claimed that oral sex, masturbation, and orgasms should to be “taught in education” to children as young as 11.

Note, I was going to ignore this story, but since advertisers are pulling out over it, I felt I’d better write about it.

One of the left’s favorite websites is called Wonkeete. It is popular because it has a reputation of being newsie, yet snarky, sort of like a less intelligent version of Comedy Central’s Daily Report. Truth be known it is more often than not merely profane as opposed to humorous or droll and for some of its advertisers the profane site has gone too far with its April 18 post making fun of Trig Palin, a child with Down’s Syndrome.

Wankette “writer” Jack Stuef decided it would be “fun” to mark Trig Palin’s third birthday by posting a “funny” post calling the child “retarded,” demeaning Trig’s intelligence as America’s “great gentleman scholar,” Saying that Todd Palin molested his own daughter and that resulted in Trig’s birth, saying that the child can’t dream because “he’s retarded,” making fun of Trig’s sister, Piper, for loving the boy, and saying that because he has Down’s Syndrome, Trig is only “somewhat alive.”

That is a lot of hate for a three year old developmentally disabled child, isn’t it? Imagine. Leftists think all that hate spewed upon a child is “humor.” Sort of tells you where leftists are coming from, doesn’t it?

Welcome students. Today is the big day. Today is your chance to take a stand against the forces of bigotry and homophobia that unfairly targets our brothers, sisters and others in the gay, lesbian, transgendered, bisexual and gender optional community.

By your very presence here, you signify your complete acceptance and approval of alternative lifestyles, sex on demand and the right of all to engage in whatever sexual practices feel good at the moment. You should be proud. And you may all now officially consider yourself enlightened. And empowered.

Christians Push Back Against Gay Agenda in Kansas

March 11, 2011 | Filed Under Christianity, Democrats/Leftists, Gay Marriage, Gays, Government, Corruption, Liberals, Paul A. Ibbetson, Religion | Comments Off

Paul A. Ibbetson

Recently there has been a push by liberals to advance the homosexual agenda into pivotal areas of American life. Barack Obama’s abolition of “don’t ask don’t tell” in the military has replaced silent service for gays with the requirement that the heterosexual majority of our fighting forces now accommodate a new, aggressive homosexual agenda if they wish to continue to defend the country. The foundation of traditional marriage in American culture is also under full assault. In another stunning attempt to force the homosexual agenda on the American people, Fox News reports that Barack Obama has ordered Attorney General Eric Holder to no longer defend the Defense of Marriage Act, the law of the land that states marriage as between a man and a woman, as constitutional. Thus we see the lengths liberals will go to achieve their goals, to fundamentally change society. What many might not be aware of is just how many parts of daily lives are being challenged by the gay agenda and the modus operandi of those involved.

If one looks closely, a repetitious pattern of presentation and action is observable from the liberal left. To start with, some radical change in traditional culture for the greater good is always forwarded, while at the same time the public at large is denied an opportunity to exercise their voices through a vote on the issue. When a people’s vote does slip by the liberal machine, it is later circumvented by a governmental fiat. To liberals, the best societal decisions are best made without society. The issue of how we recognize traditional marriage, the law that Barack Obama is now declaring void without the authority of the courts, as a tyrannical third-world dictator might do, is an issue that has already been decided by the voters. The overwhelming majority of Americans have already voted for traditional marriage as being between a man and a woman. Once again, it would take a complete subversion of the voting majority to attack this Judeo-Christian pillar of American society. Unfortunately, this is not just a Barack Obama problem. The actions of this President are simply a byproduct of a growing problem that has been taking place for some time in this country. In reality, Barack Obama is nothing more than the predictable fruit of the loins of modern-day liberalism, and that fruity fruit has been very fruitful.

America’s Gay White House

A news item by Agence Press France flew under the radar of many American news media. On February 25th it reported that “The White House on Friday named Jeremy Bernard to serve as social secretary to President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama, the first male and first openly gay person to hold the position.”

Barack Obama, married and father of two girls, may be straight, but he has proven to be the most active President when it comes to efforts that would establish homosexuality as a “normal” lifestyle in America. He is not alone in this; it is the goal of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender movement (GLBT) in America.

While I fully expect to evoke howls from the GLBT movement in saying this, the fact remains that no where in nature is homosexuality the norm. It is always an aberration because heterosexuality ensures the propagation of any and all species. It is abnormal for members of the same sex to prefer one another. The recognition of this fact reaches back to the origins of humanity.

LGBT and Rainbow Justice

Paul A. Ibbetson

As of February 8, 2011, Manhattan, Kansas has created a new mentality for the state. The message is clear: “Christians, beware.” There is a new sheriff in town that goes by the name of LGBT. The acronym “LGBT” stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender and this organization and those that follow under its rainbow banners now wield the power to start a legalized process that could very well shut down local businesses in the city of Manhattan. This new ordinance alteration sends a clear message that the state itself is in an uncertain state of moral decline.

For the gay activist group LGBT, the process for passing a law counter to historical Judeo-Christian values found in the Bible Belt was simple. They just had to keep lobbying and placing pressure on city officials until a liberal voting power block was present that would subvert the majority’s will for the political initiatives of a special interest group. Make no doubt about it, what LGBT and its cohorts are offering Manhattan will be painful and potentially longstanding. The consistently anti-Christian American Civil Liberties Union hosts a page for LGBT and they describe the organization as follows: “The LGBT Project fights discrimination and moves public opinion through the courts, legislatures and public education across five issue areas: Relationships, Youth & Schools, Parenting, Gender Identity and Expression and Discrimination in Employment, Housing and other areas.”

So how will this discrimination ordinance alteration affect the city itself? In many ways the ordinance is still bizarrely ambiguous. It was passed before the wording was finalized. Yes, the city government went beyond the Nancy Pelosi-esque wording of “we need to pass Obamacare so you can see what’s in the bill,” to saying in effect, “We will pass the ordinance and tell you what the fine print reads later.” If you ever wanted to see an example of an out-of-control government, there it is. What we do know is that homosexuals, amongst others, will be able to forward allegations of discrimination against business owners and landlords that may force private Kansas citizens to be brought before a non-elected human rights panel that the city mayor will appoint. The panel, which by its rules will always have an activist member appointed, will have the authority to call witnesses, collect evidence and levy heavy fines. This is a Pandora’s Box and I believe its creators have no true idea of how much it will be used and misused if it is not repealed.

I sat through President Obama’s 2011 State of the Union Address last night. During the event I live Tweeted the whole thing (You can read that all at http://twitter.com/#!/warnerthuston) and ended up with an empty feeling and a headache. Obama’s address was long on calls for spending, filled with bromides, and weighted with jaw, jaw but pretty short on substance. In fact, it seemed like his 12 new spending ideas and his patriotic vagaries was simply his first step onto the 2012 campaign trail as opposed to a serious address to the nation.

Obama fittingly began his address citing John Boehner, the new Speaker of the House, and memorializing the wounded Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. He then said that we had a “robust” debate in our politics and averred that it was one thing for the parties to sit together that night but it depended on what they all do “tomorrow” and he used that point to plead for moving forward with more bi-partisanship.

Tellingly, even as Obama has paid lip service to bipartisanship for three years, when he became president neither he nor his party made any moves to implement any bipartisanship. In fact, when Democrat Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House she never met with any Republicans on anything. This whole claim or bipartisanship is simply a farce on Obama’s part and Obama continued that farce in the SOTU speech.

I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that a rally held by a coalition of Chicago-area black pastors that gathered to warn Illinois against same-sex marriage and civil unions was ignored by the Old Media in Chicago. Still, as unsurprising as it it, it’s a bit galling that this event went unreported on.

The Illinois Family Institute posted a January 19 article on the snubbing by the Old Media that charges the Chicago media with an anti-Christian bias. It’s nearly impossible to deny the charge, too.

The press conference was held to call upon Illinois to oppose SB 1716, a civil unions bill now being considered 9n the state capitol in Springfield. But their conference was completely ignored. Worse than ignored, some media outlets were there yet all stories were killed by the bosses back at the studios and newspapers from which they came. So, this story was not just ignored, it was suppressed.

The Repeal of DADT: To March or to Sashay into the Future?

On December 22, 2010, President Barack Obama signed a law that repeals the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy for gays wishing to serve in the military. DADT was enacted by President Bill Clinton in 1993 and was a considered by many liberals a compassionate turn from the military’s previous ban on gays’ serving in the military. In a somewhat ironic turn of fate, in order to move the homosexual agenda forward Barack Obama would have to classify the social engineering escapades of Bill Clinton to be barbaric. At the repeal signing President Obama said that the new law would strengthen the country’s national security and upholds the values that the military fights to defend. He also spoke about the new law allowing skilled homosexuals who were previously turned away from the military to now join the American fighting forces and increase the ranks of our national defense.

To the case that Barack Obama makes for radically altering the standard of operations for military service, the President stands in complete opposition to the belief system of the founding fathers and the traditional standards of this country. How far is the gap between the value system that guides the current President on the issue of homosexuality in the military than that of the founding fathers?

What’s that you say, Guy Average? Your headlines are frequently off the wall, but this one takes the cake! Well, not so fast my friend….

The Uniform Code Of Military Justice (UCMJ) prohibits sexual conduct between members of the military unless they are married to one another. Now that DADT (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell) has been repealed and homosexuals can now openly identify themselves as homosexual and still serve in the military, it is a short step to a discrimination lawsuit that complains something along the line of “we’re homosexual and we want to serve in the military and we also want to be married so when we have sex we won’t be discharged from the military”, or something like that, you get the drift. It is clear from the story by Verena Dobnik and quoted below that the long-term goal in this is to leverage it to expand homosexual legal rights beyond the scope of the military and into US society as a whole. Here are some comments from the article:

LGBT: Kansas, you’re not in Kansas Anymore

“Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.” Those were the troubled words of Dorothy Gale as she found herself in a foreign world in the movie The Wizard of Oz. Many have used that sentence over the years for different reasons but in general it highlights a feeling of being somewhere that is so alien to our sense of normality that we cannot fully articulate where we are, only where we are not. As a lifelong Kansan I have felt that my state, as well as its location within the heartland, is a special place where traditional American values tend to be unbending to the onslaught of the political left. When I hear liberals scream words like, “gun toter” and “bible clinger” as they fail to advance their agenda in the heartland I have to say it puts a spring in my step. However, today as the sun shines down on the plains of Kansas, a liberal storm of great consequence is brewing.

Government officials in the city of Manhattan, Kansas are about to pass a modification of an existing anti-discrimination ordinance that will create the most intrusive pro-homosexual ordinance in the country. A gay advocacy group called LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender) that enjoys an office at Kansas State University has been part of a five-year movement to pressure city officials to create a radical alteration to the city’s existing anti-discrimination ordinance. So, what will these changes look like and how will it affect Kansans within its jurisdiction? I interviewed Dr. Paul Barkey, a Kansas pastor who has been researching the potential ordinance change on my radio program Conscience of Kansas and we covered the issue in detail. You’ll need to sit down.

Of course, who I sleep with is no-one’s business. Unless I’m a health hazard or something. And of course, what I do in my own bedroom used to be confined to my bedroom. Key word being “used to.”

Call me an old fuddy duddy, but I just can’t wrap my mind around gleefully advertising my most personal sexual practices. Call it modesty, or plain old good manners, but I believe that my privates were meant to be private.

Does Criticism of Homosexuality Prove Hate?

I am weary of Christians and Conservatives who are so politically correct that they permit their critics to get away with accusing them of being haters because of their opposition to homosexuality. Only non-thinking fanatics make such obviously untrue, unfair, and unscriptural assertions. After all, critics of perversion have history, the Bible, and most national cultures in their support.

A question should be asked of our critics: Are they actually asserting that someone cannot be critical of any issue simply because of problems with the issue itself, rather than problems with the people who espouse that issue? Or, is that simply a way to not answer us? Is it not possible to be critical of Obama’s radical, socialist agenda without being a racist? Can I not disagree with Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King, etc., without hating Blacks? So is it not possible, just possible, that I am convinced that homosexuality (perversion, degeneracy, sodomy, etc.) is not commendable for many reasons other than “hating someone who loves a little differently” than the mainstream? After all, I am at least as sincere as my critics so should not tolerance be extended to me? Surely if tolerance is offered to people who climb into bed with the same gender then tolerance should be extended to sincere Christians.

Lack of Intellectualism is Losing the Marriage Debate

Judge Vaughn Walker’s legal ruling striking down California’s Proposition 8 certainly was no triumph of intellectualism. But while it’s easy to thus dismiss it, what’s usually forgotten is that reasoning such as his flies only in a certain cultural milieu — a milieu that, in part, has been shaped by conservatives. Let’s examine the matter.

Walker’s lack of intellectualism is profound. Among other things, he said that opposition to faux marriage was ultimately based on “moral disapproval.” While this is a rhetorically compelling argument in an age where “morality” has become a dirty word, it is also nonsense. This is not because he is wrong in his understanding of marriage’s more cerebral defenders; it is because he is wrong in his understanding of law. For the fact is that all credible legal proscriptions and prescriptions are a matter of “moral disapproval.” Don’t believe me? I’ll explain.

The shocking actions of Judge Walker in raising specious rationalizations as to why gay marriage is a civil right has put the liberal agenda front and center to the body politic. In his zeal to create rights out of the whole cloth where they never before existed, Judge Walker may have actually set the country on the path to dictatorship. Not only it seems liberals have finally destroyed the concept of marriage as a union between one man and one woman as has been recognized by Law for over 200+ years in this Republic, he has also put the whole concept of self governance into question.

Some have made the remark that “marriage” is not mentioned in the US Constitution and thus gave an out to the destruction of marriage, as we knew it. It is implied under the 10th Amendment:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Gay Marriage: Court Decisions from Sodom and Gomorrah

August 15, 2010 | Filed Under Anti-Americanism, Constitution, Democrats/Leftists, Gay Marriage, Gays, Government, Corruption, Law, Liberals, Marriage, Paul A. Ibbetson, Regulation | Comments Off

Paul A. Ibbetson

In a recent court decision, California’s Proposition 8 initiative, which stated that marriage was to be between a man and a woman, has been struck down as unconstitutional. As reported by Fox News, the decision that overruled the voters of California was made by openly gay U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker. Walker, one of three openly gay federal judges in the country, said that the people’s choice in California for traditional marriage was unconstitutional because “Proposition 8 fails to advance any rational basis in singling out gay men and lesbians for denial of a marriage license. Indeed, the evidence shows Proposition 8 does nothing more than enshrine in the California Constitution the notion that opposite-sex couples are superior to same-sex couples.” Of course, homosexuals around the country dance in glee at the new court decision amidst the flutter of rainbow flags, while appeals and other court battles over the gay marriage question prepare to begin.

Today, to oppose the destruction of traditional values is to violate the less-than-silent-but-always-growing edict of political correctness. So in the spirit of being overly fair to gay marriage proponents, let us revisit Judge Walker’s rationale for overturning the country’s long-standing tradition of marriage. Judge Walker states on the issue of marriage that opposite-sex couples must not be seen as superior to same-sex couples. The word “superior” is commonly defined as having a higher importance, above the average in merit, or being of higher quality, to name a few. So using Judge Walker’s argument on couples, is traditional marriage of higher importance than gay marriage? From the standpoint of Californians, it most certainly is. In one of the most liberal states in the country the people rose up to defend traditional marriage in November 2008. The importance of this issue was so strong that the people took action to correct the decisions of their liberal courts within five months of the state Supreme Court’s legalization of gay marriage. They did this legally through the voting process, and traditional marriage won because of its importance to the voters of California.

There’s Nothing Gay about Being Gay

August 14, 2010 | Filed Under Alan Caruba, Democrats/Leftists, Gay Marriage, Gays, Health, Liberals | Comments Off

-By By Alan Caruba

There are two topics I generally try to avoid discussing. Number one on the list is homosexuality. Number two is most things having to do with religion, although it is impossible to ignore it in a world where a militant Islam is causing so much conflict.

I would avoid examining gay “marriage” if I could, but the gay and lesbian community will not let me.

With seven decades of life under my belt, I have had plenty of time to learn about homosexuality, know homosexuals, and to have arrived at some conclusions about it. My basic conclusion is that homosexuality is hard-wired into an individual at birth. It is not, in my opinion, a lifestyle option one learns about and decides to choose.

Those who discover their homosexuality, early or late, know well that it positions them outside the acceptance of our society and those worldwide. As such, it is a cause of much abuse and, to varying degrees, self-hatred.

Choosing Homosexuality‏

August 9, 2010 | Filed Under Gay Marriage, Gays, Nancy Morgan | Comments Off

-By Nancy Morgan

Neal Boortz claimed last week that a person’s sexuality is “ordained in the womb.” Meaning homosexuality, as Boortz sees it, is not a choice. Though I usually agree with Boortz, I beg to differ. In today’s culture, homosexuality is increasingly being presented as a lifestyle option.

Science has yet to determine if there is such a thing as a “gay gene” which predetermines sexual orientation. Lacking definitive proof of hard-wired homosexuality, the left does what it usually does in situations where the facts don’t coincide with their ideology: they “deem” it is so. Just as they did with the “man-made global warming crisis” and the canard that second-hand smoke causes cancer.

Many Americans would be shocked to know that, to date, no scientific link has been proven between man and global warming, or between second-hand smokers and cancer. And no-one has found the elusive “gay gene.” The left has merely deemed that it is so, despite the lack of hard evidence. That’s the way they passed this years’ budget. Dems didn’t want to go on record voting for yet more pork, so the powers that be decided to forego the vote and “deem” the budget passed.

Rosie O’Donnell Says Her Marriage was a Political Protest, Gays Treated Like Holocaust in America

In yet one more example among thousands, we see why loud-mouth, extreme left-wing talker Rosie O’Donnell is wholly unworthy of a national forum. In a recent segment of her satellite radio show Rosie Radio, O’Donnell idiotically claimed that gays were being “rounded up” in America so that a “pink triangle” could be slapped on them just like they were during the Holocaust. But just as obscenely, O’Donnell admitted that her marriage to Kelly Carpenter was only a political statement, one of “civil disobedience,” instead of a marriage of love proving that the whole issue of “gay marriage” has nothing at all to do with rights or “love” but is solely one of politics.

On her show, O’Donnell said of her 2004 marriage:

George Bush, in the middle of a war, had an all-station news conference to announce how horrible it was for the safety of America that gay people were getting married in San Francisco, which pissed me off enough to get on a plane and go get married.

Of course, as in most of what this hack says, O’Donnell lied about what George W. Bush said in 2004. As Tim Graham reminds us, Bush did not call any “all-station” press conferences but in truth only issued a statement from the Roosevelt Room of the White House.

Prop 8: Three Options for Social Conservatives

August 7, 2010 | Filed Under Children, Family, Gay Marriage, Gays, Government, Corruption, Law, Liberals, Marriage, Regulation, Religion, Warner Todd Huston, Western Civilization | Comments Off

-By Timothy Dalrymple

While the conclusion Judge Vaughn Walker drew in Perry v. Schwarzenegger is completely unsurprising, the scope of the ruling and its many declarations on matters ethical, psychological, and theological is nothing short of astonishing. To call it a case of judicial overreach is to indulge in severe understatement. Judge Walker not only ruled that Prop 8 violated the equal protection and due process clauses, he held forth on everything from the motives of California voters to the essential nature of marriage to the appropriateness of voting according to moral and religious convictions. What was supposed to be a trial of the constitutionality of Proposition 8 became a trial of the rationality of those who oppose same-sex marriage — and Perez Hilton could hardly have supplied a more one-sided conclusion. Prop 8

Judge Walker was conscious, of course, that his ruling would be appealed all the way to the Supreme Court. Appellate courts do not generally rehearse the discovery of “facts.” They investigate whether the right laws and precedents were rightly applied to the facts of the case. Yet Judge Walker strategically located his most explosive claims — which are not “facts” at all but his own moral intuitions — in the lengthy “findings of fact” portion of his ruling. He determines, for instance, that “Gender no longer forms an essential part of marriage.” Yet this, it must be admitted even by those who agree with the statement, is not a simple finding of fact. How was the judge able to determine this? What does it mean to be an essential part of marriage, and if it is no longer essential, then when exactly did it cease to be so? The attempt to discover demonstrable “facts” when it comes to matters of value, psychology, and theology was a misbegotten enterprise from the beginning.

BREAKING: Calif. Prop 8 Gay Marriage Ban Overturned

The long awaited ruling from Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, an H.W Bush Appointee and one of only two openly gay federal judges, has ruled that California’s Proposition 8 violates due process and equal-protection rights under the U.S. Constitution.

“Moral disapproval alone is an improper basis on which to deny rights to gay men and lesbians. The evidence shows conclusively that Proposition 8 enacts, without reason, a private moral view that same-sex couples are inferior to opposite-sex couples,” Walker wrote.

Judge Walker said that Prop 8 failed to “advance any rational basis” to deny gay men and lesbians the legal ability to marry.

Pro-traditional marriage activists promise to appeal the decision to the 9th Circuit Court and then, likely, to the Supreme Court.

Another School-Makes-Little-Boys-Cross-Dress Story

June 18, 2010 | Filed Under Children, Education, Gays, New York, Warner Todd Huston | Comments Off

-By Warner Todd Huston

In April I had a story that raised a ruckus in New Jersey. To celebrate women’s history month, Maude Wilkins Elementary School thought it would be cool for their grade school students to dress like women… yes, even the little boys. Well this moth yet another east coast grade school is trying to force its little boys to cross-dress, this time in New York.

Andrea Peyser reports that a Roosevelt Island school for children with special needs — The Child School and Legacy High School, a private school — decided to throw on a play, a kiddie version of the gay-themed romp La Cage aux Folles.

A father “almost choked on his Wheaties,” Peyser writes, when his developmentally disabled child expressed no desire to “wear a dress to school” that day. Of course, the father was quite upset that his special needs child was being used to push the gay agenda even as the boy didn’t understand exactly what was going on.
