People Without Integrity Reject Facts About Homosexuality!

January 10, 2012 | Filed Under Children, Christianity, Dr. Don Boys, Gay Marriage, Gays, Liberals, Religion | 2 Comments

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Following are stark, shocking, and serious facts about homosexuality along with a few opinions. Remember that everyone has a right to his own opinion but no one has a right to his own facts. People with integrity accept facts even if those facts bruise their opinions. There are a few honest, informed homosexuals who agree with every point I will make! Most of the media are too cowardly to recognize, accept, or publish the following.

Homosexuals are not “born that way,” and any study of the facts will support that; however, most politicians, pundits, psychologists, and preachers are too lazy or bigoted to learn and accept the truth. Even the very pro-homosexual American Psychological Association has returned to reality and in the last couple of months declared: “There are no scientific findings that a person is born homosexual.” One of their brochures declares: “There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops s heterosexual, bisexual, gay or lesbian orientation.”

Contrary to the dishonest, leftist propaganda, once into the pathetic lifestyle homosexuals can escape. A recent comprehensive study published in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy determined that “some people can indeed move from homosexuality to heterosexuality, and that harm is unlikely to result from such efforts.”

Obama, the Liberals and the Apostates – A Legacy of Division

Everyone from preachers to comedians has at some time been heard to quote Christ’s famous line from Matthew’s gospel, “every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.” (Mt 12: 25) But today is not the day that people in this nation are gathering around the Bible to hear the wisdom from above. We are a nation with gadgets in our hands that are full of apps, pics and text waiting for the digital meanderings of the electronics wizards to be transferred to our brains.

President Obama, his liberal cadre and the Church’s apostates are a trinity, together they make up modernity’s deity, worshipped by the liberal, secularized, sottish, silly and self absorbed. We all know it, and perhaps we thought we could bear with it for a while, here in the land of freedom and bi-partisanship. What has actually happened in this great experiment turns out to be far more destructive than we could have imagined, in a word it is diametrically opposite of the familiar ‘E Pluribus Unum’ it is now pure division without unity. Is it now ‘E Pluribus Magis Divortium?’

Those who are not paying homage to the god of division may be half consciously following the newly introduced god formed by the national and worldwide deification of sex. The priests of the new religion are the lesbians, gays, transgenders and bi-sexuals who have convinced their crowds of adherents and newly indoctrinated that they are the emerging new social class vying for freedom and equality, as the black community once did in the Deep South.

Who Will You Kiss when the Ball Drops in Times Square?

It is said that when Christ died on the cross, and in three days arose victorious over death, and walked out alive from his tomb, that God had figuratively put his hand on the flywheel of time, and started it in another direction. This is why the finished work of Christ is called, ‘the good news,’ which is exactly what the word ‘gospel’ means.

The question is not why we would continue to proclaim a two thousand year old event as good news, but how would we dare not to proclaim it? A new year may hold hope, but then produce only more trouble and hardship. Every year is just a notch above a gamble. Christ finished work is no gamble, but rather a destination in a place and a state of perfect victory.

At or near the end of any man’s life there is no rush to replenish the riches, the size of our families or our sphere of influence. The thoughts of what our lives have meant, take precedence, even among those who, don’t believe they will have to account to God.

Hillary’s Knowledge of the Bible Would Fit in the Navel of a Flea

Hillary Clinton is no sex expert or Bible expert, in fact, I’m not sure she is an expert on anything. Moreover, does any sane, honest person think she would be Secretary of State if her name were Paula Jones?

Recently Clinton, talking like a sex expert and Bible expert, made some really stupid remarks in promoting perversion (or to be politically correct, the homosexual agenda). She is not satisfied that the homosexual crowd has taken control of the media, the entertainment industry, mainline church groups, and academia but now she and Obama would raise the stakes and go for a global acceptance of perverted practices! She declared that it is “one of the remaining human rights challenges of our time,” saying it was similar to the effort of ending racial, sexual, or religious discrimination. Hand me a barf bag. All Blacks should be indignant at her nonsensical babbling.

Hilary went for the religious jugular when she blasted Christians who object on Bible grounds to her hedonism. “These objections,” she said, are “not unlike the justification offered for violent practices towards women like honor killings, widow burning, or female genital mutilation.” She was trying to convince us that the crusade for approval of a man climbing into bed with another man and a woman with woman is equally honorable to the crusade to eliminate honor killings, widow burning, or female genital mutilation! Maybe Bill didn’t inhale those funny cigarettes but Hillary sure did.

Santa Monica Atheist’s Attack on Christmas

While most of the folks of Santa Monica, California enjoy their local Christmas tradition, there is a tiny, but activist minority attempting to take away that 60-year Christmas tradition from the city by engaging in precisely the same sort of exclusionary tactics and discrimination that they claim Christians use against them. Yes, it’s a heartwarming tale of hypocrisy from California’s zealous atheists just in time for Christmas.

In a perfect example of how not to influence people and make friends, haters of Christians in Santa Monica led by their high priest Damon Vix — a Hollywood prop maker that is not a full-time Santa Monica resident — launched a campaign to squelch the displays of Christmas nativity scenes and replace them with atheist messages.…

How to have a Politically Correct Merry Christmas

There is little doubt what tone Mr. Obama has desired to set for the nation. His song has been about bailouts, spending, class warfare, circumventing the Congress with executive orders, abortion rights and the LGBT.

The President has stated his view quite clearly for all Americans to hear and ponder. In a succinct and clearly stated single proclamation, the Obama doctrine for America, as it pertains to the worldwide tensions, believed to be caused by Muslims, is clear. In a 2009 speech in Cairo he said the tension “has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”

No one would argue that we need to seek peace with all our neighbors in the world community, but now the president has stated that we must ignore the universal cry for jihad coming from the Muslim world and tone down the rhetoric. Perhaps he’s right. Toning down the rhetoric might calm things a bit, but toning down the resistance to a universal, worldwide Muslim caliphate can never be abated or abandoned.

Christianity’s Triumph

“By far the most important event in the entire rise of Christianity was the meeting in Jerusalem in around the year 50, when Paul was granted the authority to convert Gentiles without them also becoming observant Jews.”

So wrote Rodney Stark, the Distinguished Professor of the Social Sciences and co-director of the Institute for Studies of Religion at Baylor University. His most recent book is “The Triumph of Christianity: How the Jesus Movement Became the World’s Largest Religion” ($27.99, HarperCollins).

For Christians in particular, I recommend it if only because so many have a tenuous grasp of Christianity’s real history, as opposed the versions that too often are casually accepted as truth.

The truth is that the rise of Christianity is one of the most extraordinary stories of the past two millennia. Stark not only has the knowledge of his vast subject, but he writes with such felicity that it is hard to put the 500-page book aside for both its revelations and its devotion to the facts.

New Atheists Want to Remove Children from Your Home–or Worse!

Angry New Atheists have attacked and challenged me because of my accusation that they want to remove children from the influence of parents, teachers, or preachers who teach the doctrine of Hell and the exclusive plan of salvation through Christ. One atheist from Australia wrote, “Really? This is a very serious (and demonstrably false) accusation. Please provide some evidence for this claim.” My charge is not false, demonstrably or otherwise. Atheists hate religion and consider it child abuse; hence children should not be exposed to it. Frankly, it is far worse than simply removing children from Christian homes as the following proves.

Perry Bulwer is an atheist lawyer who writes: “The educational rights of children are also undermined when they are intellectually abused with biblical literalism, anti-science creationism or denied the right to attend university.” He charges that “many fundamentalist and orthodox beliefs are highly detrimental to children’s minds.” (Religion and Child Abuse News website.) Note that he is not referring to physical abuse, but intellectual abuse because children are taught Bible truth and Creationism! But it gets worse, much worse.

The American Atheists’ website clearly proved my contention when the founder, Al Stefanelli, Georgia State Director, wrote of fundamentalist Christians, “They don’t respond to lawsuits, letters, amicus briefs or other grass-roots campaigns and they must, must, must be eradicated.” Eradicated means “to wipe out, destroy, tear out by the roots.” He continues to libel us when he lumps us with fanatics who fly planes into buildings and “people being burned for witchcraft.” Al is so uninformed that he doesn’t know that no “witch” was ever burned in America! New York Rabbi: A Tim Tebow Win Will Cause Christians to Burn Mosques, Bash Gays

**UPDATED** Hammerman removes paragraph from story

In the category of bigotry and hatred spares no religion, we find such hatred hiding behind religion in one “Rabbi” Joshua Hammerman of New York City. Hammerman has indulged his inner Father-Coughlin-in-reverse by proclaiming that if Tim Tebow wins the Super Bowl, why, Christians will go on a rampage that will result in the burning of mosques and the bashing of gays. Now, are you ready for some football?

Hammerman disgorged his absurd claims at his New York Jewish Week blog posted on December 12 titled, “My Tim Tebow Problem.” It is instead Hammerman’s civility problem. Tim Tebow has nothing to do with this neer do well’s extreme hatred of Christians.

Calling Tebow the “poster boy of the Christian right,” Hammerman is disgusted by the fact that the footballer — oh the horrors — “thanks Jesus after every game.” It all makes the “rabbi” expound upon his “fear” about “what will happen if the hulky Denver Bronco quarterback wins the Super Bowl.”

And what will happen you might ask? Let’s let this so-called rabbi take it from here:

Prophecy 2012: America in the Valley of Decision

This message is less about the denouement of America than it is about the deliberations of a nation at an urgent and critical moment in its history. I urge Americans to carefully consider the course they are choosing in the very near future.

My choice would have been to put this message out later in 2012, but on December first, I realized that nothing could wait, the timing of a message is equally important to the content. Here are seven points and a conclusion that I can only pray that many will give careful consideration to, as we enter what promises to be, the most critical year of our entire history as a nation.

It may not even need to be said that terms like liberal and conservative, the right wing and the left have ceased to be terms that can be used in the broadest sense, as they have been for generations. Now the battle is emerging between good and evil, right and wrong and Godliness and ungodliness. It is all preparation for the coming world ruler known as the antichrist and his aide the false prophet.

Atheists Respond to my Challenge to Put Up or Shut Up!

I challenged atheists in my book, The God Haters to put up or shut up and I have had some very interesting replies. There is no way I can verify that these people are qualified to answer my questions, but they seem to think that their answers are authoritative. Plus, their crudeness and anger match the New Atheists. Nevertheless, I challenged them and I think you deserve to read their responses to my challenge. Below is one atheist’s “answer.” More to follow in the weeks ahead.

He replied, “No one, absolutely no one, believes that nothing created everything.” Note how definite he was, but evidently he was lying or totally uninformed. Atheists often ridicule Christians who declare that God created everything out of nothing, and they do so with scorn and sarcasm. When I demand to know their answer as to how everything got here (after all, we are here!) they get as uncomfortable as a dog in hot ashes, try to put on a scholarly look, then they squirm and with less authority in their voice tell me “We came from nothing or nothing created everything.” That is shabby, shabby thinking. If you have nothing, it is obvious that nothing can be produced.

Famous scientist Quinton Smith concludes that “the most reasonable belief is that we came from nothing, by nothing, and for nothing,” and fellow scientist, Stephen Hawking declared, the universe likely “popped into existence without violating the known laws of Nature,” Sure, everything just “popped into existence.” That’s very scientific, isn’t it.

This is why Islam is a blight on humanity. In Cairo last Friday the Muslim Brotherhood held a rally with the uplifting message that someday they’d “kill all Jews.”

This kinder, gentler rally was called to promote the “battle against Jerusalem’s Judaization” and was held on the same day as the anniversary of the UN’s partition plan of 1947, which established the Jewish state.

Oh, yes, the rally featured all sorts of nice, religious messages… all based on typically illegitimate Muslim blood lust…

Marriage Adviser Caves – Satan Not in LGBT?

I comb the news each week looking for what might inform and above all help the Christian community to stay strong in the faith. I have refused automatic news scripts, and handpicked each piece. My sense of responsibility goes beyond my articles but it encompasses everything on our website. Everything is geared to enhance, strengthen and inform the believer and appeal to the better sensibilities of the non-believer.

Occasional an article or report leaves me speechless, while another may invoke anger or great sadness. The Washington Post published just such an article on November 4, 2011, entitled, “Marriage adviser resigns over Satan homosexuality column.”

Some teachings of the Bible are explicit while others are implied but the teaching about demons and devils is as explicit as it gets. Those who decide to make careers out of sin and perversion are most assuredly called the sons and daughters of the devil. The Bible is not squeamish about it but actually puts Satan’s own together with perversion.

Here is one example. “And said, O full of all subtlety and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?” (Acts 13: 10)

Mississippi Still Burning – Consciences Seared

There is little doubt that this writer is convinced we are in the last days but just in case you don’t read long enough to read my usual scriptural addendum customarily placed at the end of my articles; I’ll put it first.

Paul warning his young disciple Timothy of conditions in the last days said, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” (1Tim 4: 1, 2)

The phrase “doctrines of devils” is why much of the responses in Mississippi newspapers and journals are saying that Mississippians’ would not be subjected to the fears of some religious rhetoric or God lore concerning Initiative – 26 – Definition of Person – Ballot Issue.

I entered one blog only to say that the Bible’s message rather than being religious rhetoric is, life affirming, God given revelation, that when boiled down to its essence, says that God actually intended humans to live and not to occupy the buckets and waste containers of medical clinics to the tune of 53,000,000 to date. This is pragmatism not prophecy, but in either case it is a testimony against our refusal to see the obvious.

Eight Reasons Why Today’s World Despises and Resists Christianity

November 6, 2011 | Filed Under Christianity, Michael Bresciani‏, Religion, Society/Culture | Comments Off

-By Rev Michael Bresciani

All references to Christianity here are referring only to Bible based or scripturally centered faith unless otherwise stated. In politics the term RINO has emerged of late, meaning Republican in name only. Borrowing from that acronym the religious counterpart of a RINO would be CINO. (Christian in name only) We are in the throes of the biggest apostasy (Falling away) of the Christian faith in the last twenty centuries and many churches and organizations that spearhead this apostasy are certainly, CINO.

1. The indisputable number one reason real Christianity is despised is because it declares that man’s greatest problem is sin. We have for centuries seen the problems of man as a lack of knowledge, economics, race problems, politics and dozens more. The Bible recognizes none of these things as the root problem of man. Rather the scriptures declares that the fallen condition of man drives us all to a propensity to sin that ultimately causes the problems of all mankind. Wars, economic disparities, race problems and all else is a result of man’s willingness to sin and live out lives of sin without recognizing that they are sinners.

The Bible has many things to say about sin but the central focus is that Jesus Christ came into the world mainly to deal with the problem of sin once and for all. His death on the cross was no accident or untimely thwarting of his goals and ministry. It was the primary reason he came and the ultimate goal of his life. (Jn 18: 37)

Talk about making a mistake everyone can see! Atheists in California have done a disservice to their own crusade to spread atheism by launching a new billboard campaign that ascribes a false quote to Thomas Jefferson. That’s right, they’ve essentially become liars for atheism.

In Costa Mesa, California a group of atheists calling themselves Backyard Skeptics have unveiled a billboard to sell atheism to the general public that features a quote they claim came from Thomas Jefferson, the Third President of the United States.

“I do not find in Christianity one redeeming feature,” the billboard “quotes” the president as having said. “It is founded on fables and mythology,” this quote concludes.

That would be a stinging rebuke of Christianity, indeed… were it true. Unfortunately for this little atheist group it seems that their quote is a fake quote the group found on the Internet and assumed was real.

Illinois Government’s War Against Religious Child Services Continues

Earlier this year the State of Illinois moved to force religious-based children’s services to break their religious principles and give children in their charge to homosexual couples. Organizations such as Catholic Charities have been told by the state that they either break their religious principles or face being shut down by the state. So, pursuant to that agenda, the state has determined that all children currently in the hands of religious adoption agencies need to be removed immediately.

Representing Catholic Charities of three Illinois Roman Catholic Dioceses, the Thomas Moore Society filed an emergency motion to prevent the state from removing all the children in its care. Unfortunately, an Illinois appellate court refused to overturn the trial court’s decision to remove the children during the appeal process in which lawyers are now engaged. (Filings here and here.)

Still, other motions made in the emergency motion were granted. Thomas Moore informs that the matter “is now on an expedited schedule for briefing in the Appellate Court.” The fate of the children remains unknown at this point.

Author of “The God Haters” Challenges the New Atheists!

The New Atheists, led by Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Daniel Dennett and Sam Harris, have proved by their own books and websites to be angry, abrasive, arrogant atheists. They shout from their ivory towers their hatred toward any and all religions and demand that children be “protected” from pastors, teachers and even parents who teach an exclusive way of salvation and the teaching of an eternal hell. All children under such an influence must be removed from classrooms, Sunday school classes and even their homes!

That is not going to happen until pigs learn to fly and shrimp learn to whistle. In fact, I would not comply with such a law even if pigs learned to fly in flocks and did aerial stunts over the White House and pigs learned to whistle “Dixie” in harmony.

Their books are filled with malice, mishmash and mistakes and I challenge them to admit and correct their biblical, historical and scientific blunders. I am willing to overlook the malice and mishmash as normal for God Haters, as is their bluffing, bragging, bluster and bravado. All of that seems to be in their genes or in Dawkins’ mythical memes.

Did Juan Williams Link Christians to The Oklahoma City Bombing?

In his recent assessment of his year since he was unceremoniously — and illicitly in many folks’ estimation — fired by NPR, Juan Williams indulged one of those fallacious left-wing assumptions that just screams left-wing spin. It is the sort of straw man argument that casts aspersions on others, this time against Christians, while pretending to be the logical, adult in the room, not to mention while pretending not to be casting aspersions. It really is a logical sleight of hand that all liberals use.

First let me say that I am 100% on Williams’ side in that his firing by NPR was a real breach of journalistic ethics: theirs. The comments he made a year ago that got him fired did not in any way harm his veracity as a journalist, nor were they racist or even incorrect. Heck, they weren’t even injudicious except when taking the brain dead PCism that infests the left into consideration.

But that was the discussion of a year ago and really is not something wroth rehashing here because Williams did say something outrageous in his review of that year-old issue that deserves to be highlighted. In essence, Williams made an illogical argument about how we should think of radical Islam and he did so by assuming that domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh of the Oklahoma City Bombing could be considered as representative of Christianity as the Saudi 19 were of radical Islam.

Here is what Williams said (my bold for emphasis):

Media’s Confusion about Mormonism – Journalists’ Poor Theologians?

Dr. Robert Jeffress said Mormonism has “never been considered a part of mainstream Christianity.” He indicated that he thought Mormonism is a cult at the Values Voter Summit on Friday October 7, 2011. His statement has ignited a firestorm of controversy and questions. From the forthright Fox News to the feckless far left media, questions like “did he go too far” are circulating around the media like a deadly tornado. What is it all about?

It would be easy to simplify it all by saying that for years most of mainstream Protestantism has held Mormonism as a cult, so Jeffress was not wrong. But here we will ask the question of just why Mormonism is viewed this way.

Volumes have been written that deal with the theological problems with Mormonism, which is why I will not presume to settle it here in one article. What is needed is some clarity and some history so it can be understood just how mainstream Christianity came to these conclusions.

Journalists generally don’t make great theologians and that can be seen in their repeated misuse of terms they obviously do not understand. The terms used most often are, heresy and cult.

While it is possible for some sects to be such aberrations of standard Christianity that they are labeled as cults it is not the best or normal usage for this term. A cult is adherence to a person or teaching that usually has no connection to Christianity or the Bible at all. Manson, Aum Shinrikyo, Scientology, Jonestown, are good examples of cults that never had Christian foundations or if they did they were completely discarded for something else.

The second most often misused word is heresy. Here is a word with a clearer definition but a broader application, the misuse of this word is rampant, even among the best Christian minds of the day.

In the first week of August the Thomas Moore Society filed an emergency injunction to prevent the State of Illinois from taking away the foster children that are currently under Catholic Charities’ care during the appeal currently underway.

Shockingly, the government of the State of Illinois has determined that religious people are ill-suited to being allowed to be foster parents for at risk children to to help place such children in safe and loving homes. And so, in his infinite wisdom, Governor Pat Quinn and his irreligious cohorts want to make it illegal for groups such as Catholic Charities to deal with child services.

The state has decided that Catholic Charities and other religious-based organizations that deal with children should not be allowed to observe their own religious principles in the doing. In other words, the State of Illinois is refusing to allow these Christians to follow their freedom of religion.

A middle school in Smyrna, Georgia included in an assignment material that essentially shows 7th grade children that Islamic polygamy is a perfectly legitimate concept and that there is nothing wrong with the strict dress codes used to oppress Muslim women the world over.

The material was presented to the 7th graders at Campbell Middle School as part of a discussion of the school’s dress codes, apparently meant to use the ideas of Islamic culture for women’s clothing as some sort of example to compare how the school regulates clothing for its students in Georgia.

The concepts were presented in the lesson as a letter from a fictional 20-year-old Muslim woman named “Ahlima.” In this letter “Ahlima” tells readers that she wouldn’t mind if her husband took a second wife and also extolled the virtues of the burkha. She claims that American women are “horribly immodest” in the way they dress.

As to polygamy, the fictional Ahlima says, “I understand that some Westerners condemn our practice of polygamy, but I also know they are wrong.”

Shaking Assumptions Regarding Natural Disasters

Though the event displays the wonder of God and His creation, no minister can hand down an edict one way or the other whether a particular earthquake other than the ones foretold in prophetic passages of Scripture such as the Book of Revelation was an act of retribution and judgment.

Countless congregations no doubt heard from the hyperpious among their number how they were disappointed the quake didn’t result in total destruction and that any not so eager for it all to end aren’t even worthy of the chewing gum stuck under the pew.

In response to the earthquake, it has been admonished that it id God and not government that saves you. But should you need to be pulled from the rubble, is it the direct hand of God doing so or, in the vast majority of instances, is it more likely to be a policeman, firefighter, members of the National Guard or a group of average concerned citizens? Taking this mindset to its natural conclusion, is it therefore wrong to express gratitude toward parents if they do something good for you? Is it wrong to verbalize one’s love to one’s spouse if language can only be used in such an exclusivist and univocal manner? Furthermore, if we are to wait on the direct divine intervention of God to determine what happens to us in such calamitous upheavals, does that mean we should not seek medical attention during times of sickness or to even prepare a meal to stave off hunger?

There has NEVER been such a people as the Palestinians. And those that wanted their own nation have been little else but murderers, racists, and hatemongers since the 1920s and before!

This video does a great job explaining the REAL history of these murderous, monstrous, haters.

Worse, during WWII the Palestinians honed their hatred to a special edge by learning at the feet of the Nazis.

The basis for all this violence, hatred, murder, war, and destruction perpetrated by the so-called Palestinians? Islam, of course.

The Vision that Started a Lifetime of Prophetic Ministry

-By Rev Michael Bresciani‏

Nearly seven years has passed since my book entitled “An American Prophet and His Message” was published and only recently has it occurred to me that of the more than five hundred articles I have written since then, not one describes the first prophetic vision of worldwide events that I ever received. This is an excerpt from my book un-edited in its entirety from a chapter entitled “How This Book Was Written.” My writing style has changed greatly but the vision has not.

Keep in mind that when I received this vision I had not so much as heard that there was a “second coming” of the Lord Jesus Christ. I had never read anything about it in or out of the Bible including the biblical pictures of a blood red moon and the blocking of the sun.

“Today in a show of their craft, movie makers might start their stories at the end and then proceed to the beginning. In some movies they even show parallel themes based on what would happen to an individual if they had made different choices. But this book is not written to entertain or mesmerize the reader with its mixed time line or plot. My clearest intention is to get the heart of the message out first and foremost. Many people read only the first part of a book or chapter and make summaries from that alone. Thus, I wouldn’t make the reader wait until later to get to the meat.

Dignity and Obscenity Don’t Mix Even in America

September 13, 2011 | Filed Under Christianity, Michael Bresciani‏, PCism, Religion, Society/Culture | Comments Off

-By Rev Michael Bresciani

Basically every school kid knows that oil and water do not mix. Should anyone have missed that rudimentary lesson in chemistry, they have only to recall the recent events that took place in the Gulf of Mexico, and a leaking BP oil rig that the best scientific and engineering minds of our time could not stop, for months. If you are a bit older, then you also can recall the great Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska.

No one can argue with the fact that obscenities of every kind are pouring forth across America at an alarming pace. What is hard to understand is that from the President down there are people trying to add dignity to our obscenities which in the end is as futile as trying to mix oil and water.

A recent piece from Focus on the Family noted that the pro-abortionist have been emboldened by President Obama and his Attorney General to take more stringent actions against those who are pro choice and who choose to demonstrate or stand against the practice of abortion. It goes without saying that every aspect of the gay agenda has also been recharged by the moral position of the President, or as some would say; the lack of it.

USA Today Hit Piece on Christian Defense Attorney, Jay Sekulow

USA Today published a story recently by Bob Smietana of the Nashville newspaper The Tennessean attacking the integrity and work of well-known Christian First Amendment defense attorney Jay Sekulow that is shocking for what is left out.

Sekulow is the head man of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), a Washington D.C.-based organization that takes on attackers of Christian’s First Amendment rights to free exercise of religion, a tempting target in some corners of America’s political establishment.

In fact, writer Smietana didn’t just write one piece attacking Sekulow and the ACLJ but in the space of only a few days wrote two. In one piece Smietana accuses Sekulow and his family of making too much money from the charities they represent and in the second he claims that the ACLJ might be improperly pursuing cases not in its tax exempt charter.

In both cases Smietana employs the “some say” style of indictment by writing innuendoes backed up by little actual evidence, but the piece in USA Today is by far the worst example of the tactic.

Is There Time to Recover the American Dream?

September 4, 2011 | Filed Under Anti-Americanism, Bible, Christianity, Democrats/Leftists, Ethics, Government, Government, Corruption, Liberals, Michael Bresciani‏, Religion | Comments Off

-By Rev Michael Bresciani

In Ronald Reagan’s address to the nation July 27, 1981 he said “This is not the time for political fun and games. This is the time for a new beginning.” He was at the time, speaking about the heavy burden of taxes laid upon American families, so we can only imagine what he might say today about both taxes and time.

After a lifetime of studying the scriptures, history and the influences of great men and women on our society, I am convinced that when we speak of “space and time,” it is time that bears upon us disproportionately from space.

With the last shuttle launch behind us and talk of dismantling the space station in the news, it would seem that we are back to being the prisoners of the earth, as declared by the ancient King Solomon. “For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth.” (La 3: 33, 34)
