Black ‘Professor’ Who Attacked Teen Anti-Abortion Protester Blames ‘Slavery’

So-called professor Mireille Miller-Young of the University of California at Santa Barbara says she has a legitimate reason for physically attacking a 16-year-old anti-abortion protester in march of this year. She was pregnant, so anti-abortion protests are a “trigger” that makes the disease of pregnancy cause her to go wild. On top of that, “Slavery” made the black “Queer Studies” professor do it, you see?

In March this crazed “professor” attacked the teen and her 21-year-old sister when they took advantage of the school’s “free speech zone” where the pair set up a display to protest abortion.

The “professor” swooped in, physically assaulted the kids and stole their display running away with it to her office where she locked the display away.

Failing Grade: CA School Drops Geography For ‘Diversity Training’

One school in California is taking away a useful class and replacing it with PC garbage by eliminating geography in favor of “diversity” training.

Naturally it is California, right? The Corner has the story:

El Rancho Verde Unified School District will stop requiring its high-school students to take geography and instead require them to take a class on diversity and inclusion.

ERUSD president Aurora Villon said the class is necessary because minority students “need to feel validated.”

“When you negate their culture, they feel less than other students,” she said in an e-mail to Whittier Daily News.

98 percent of the district’s students are Hispanic.

What a complete joke. No wonder our schools are nothing but a laughing stock.

Unions Scold School For Not Celebrating Cop Killer

A group of unions in California have gotten together to criticize the Oakland Unified School District for refusing to allow a lesson plan to appear on its website that compares murderer Mumia Abu-Jamal to civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The “Urban Dreams” lesson plan tells students to “critically examine a possible parallel between Martin Luther King, Jr., and someone else many believe is currently targeted by the U.S. government, Mumia Abu-Jamal.”

The Oakland school district decided to jettison the lesson plan because it lionized a cop killer and criticized the police. Its comparison of the murderer to King was especially galling.

But the unions had an opposing opinion on the efficacy of a lesson plan that celebrates a murderer as someone “just like” beloved civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.

A teen in an advanced learning program at a California middle school was threatened with being kicked out of her program because she had a photo of her Air Force brother on a four-ring binder. This seems to be purely a case of another school being against the military.

The school, Golden Valley Middle School in San Bernardino, California, claimed that having photos on a binder broke the program’s policies. The girl, 13-year-old Brianna Gentry, also had photos of her little league ball team alongside the photo of her brother who is serving as a military policeman in Montana.

In an interview with KTLA TV, the girls said, “My brother’s very important to me. I haven’t seen him in a while.”

Officials at Brianna’s school told the girl that it was against the rules to have photos on her assignments binder and threatened to expel her from the advanced placement program called AVID.

Illinois Ranks as ‘Worst’ For Small Businesses

Once again Illinois and California are neck-and-neck in the calculations for the worst of the worst U.S. states, this time in a measure of how friendly the states are for the growth of small businesses.

Earlier this month thumbtack.com released its third annual survey of the climate for small businesses exploring such ratings as the overall friendliness of the state to small businesses, the ease of starting a business, regulations, ease of hiring new employees, taxes, and other criteria.

The poll was conducted among over 12,000 small business owners across the country.

The survey, held in conjunction with the Kauffman Foundation, found that the worst states for small businesses were California, Rhode Island and Illinois, all of which got a Thumbtack “F” rating. The next worst were Connecticut and New Jersey, both of which received a “D” grading.

Illinois has descended in its rating each of the three years that the survey has been conducted having earned a “D+” in 2012, a “D” in 2013, and an “F” in 2014.

To Democrats, Republicans are ‘Terrorists,’ But the Taliban is Legit

While Democrats always pretend to look aghast at the purported “vile rhetoric” of the right, the truth is it is the left that is filled with a constant stream of hate speech. Worse, while Democrats are positive that there is no such thing as a terrorist in Afghanistan, Iraq or the wider Middle East, they are equally certain that the only true terrorists are Republicans. And we have two democrats affirming that position this month.

Take California’s Democrat Representative Jackie Speier who just yesterday said that the Taliban surely aren’t terrorists. They are, she insisted, legitimate representatives of the Afghan government.

Naturally, this terror excuser said this on MSNBC, the least trusted news source in America. Speier told MSNBC’s Kristen Welker, that the Taliban is not really a terror outfit.

“Let me underscore the term ‘terrorists,'” Speier told MSNBC. “The Taliban is a part of the fabric of Afghanistan.”

Colleges and Universities in this country helped cause the mass shooting of 14–with seven killed–in Santa Barbara, California this weekend. It is yet another example of how college is fast become a detriment to this country instead of a positive force.

The creep who perpetrated a drive by shooting killing seven, including himself, and wounding seven more, filmed himself explaining why he was about to go on a mass killing spree.

As the Daily Mail reports the killer blamed his spree on his inability to get a date.

Environmental Shakedown Through Bastardized Application of Science, Policy and Education

Over a three-year period, 2009-2012, Department of Justice data shows American taxpayers footed the bill for more than $53 million in so-called environmental groups’ legal fees–and the actual number could be much higher. The real motivation behind the Endangered Species Act (ESA) litigation, perhaps, could have more to do with vengeance and penance than with a real desire to protect flora and fauna.

On May 7, I spoke at the Four Corners Oil and Gas Conference in Farmington, New Mexico. During the two-day event, I sat in on many of the other sessions and had conversations with dozens of attendees. I left the event with the distinct impression that the current implementation of the ESA is a major impediment to the economic growth, tax revenue, and job creation that comes with oil-and-gas development. I have written on ESA issues many times, most recently I wrote about the lesser prairie chicken’s proposed “threatened” listing (which the Fish and Wildlife Service [FWS] listed on March 27) and the Oklahoma Attorney General’s lawsuit against the federal government over the “sue and settle” tactics of FWS and the Department of the Interior.

While at the conference, I received an email announcing that FWS has asked a federal court for a six-month delay in making a final determination on whether to list the Gunnison sage grouse as an endangered species–moving the decision past the November elections. Up for re-election, Senator Mark Udall (D-CO) “cheered” the extension request. The E & E report states: Colorado elected leaders “fear the listing could have significant economic impacts.”

April brought us Earth Day and with it at focus on both our ecosystem and those that claim it is their highest interest to protect the same. With reflection, though, we have to wonder if these self-appointed guardians of our environment are really just foxes guarding the henhouse succumbing to the temptation of power and money, even as they demonize those “greedy” corporate interests, they oppose. In many cases we may discover that these supposed “non-profits” are anything but.

A recent article–one of many on this theme–shows that even the so-called mainstream environmental groups like the Sierra Club are becoming targets of ridicule and derision from a brash new breed of environmental activist. It brings to mind the old adage that there is no honor among thieves.

Armed with money from deep-pocketed, left-wing donors have loosed an army of idealistic shock troops. With social media marketing skills and lawyers on staff, these organizations have perfected the art of adeptly (and legally, I might add) picking the public’s pocket while bragging about it. It is, as Forbes magazine says, a costly game of “sue and settle.” Worse, there is collusion going on between these environmental groups and the federal government.

Second Gun Shop Reverses, Now Won’t Sell Smart Gun

May 2, 2014 | Filed Under 2nd Amendment, Anti-Americanism, California, Constitution, Democrats/Leftists, Ethics, Government, Government Corruption, Guns, Liberals, Maryland, Progressives, Smart Guns, Warner Todd Huston | Comments Off

-By Warner Todd Huston

Earlier this year a gun shop in California began to gear up to sell a “smart gun,” but gun enthusiasts raised such a stink about the sale that the store backed off and even claimed they never intended to sell the gun. Now a shop in Maryland has had the same experience with similar results.

The gun in question is the Armatrix iP1, a so-called “smart” pistol that cannot be made to fire unless the shooter is also wearing a wrist watch that emits an electronic signal unlocking the gun’s firing mechanism.

Pro-Second Amendment advocates are vociferously against this gun. The chief reason is that several state legislatures (California and New Jersey, for instance) have laws that once “smart gun” technology is on the market, all guns but smart guns will be banned.

So, when a California gun shop let slip it was looking to market the iP1, gun fans slammed the shop with attacks on the Internet and in person. The hate for the shop was so high that proprietors quickly claimed that they never intended to sell the smart gun and would not do so in the future.

Despite’s League Claims of Clippers Sale, Sterling May Fight to Bitter End

The NBA may think it has set in motion the eventual sale of the L.A. Clippers thanks to racist comments made by team owner Donald Sterling, but Sterling has a long history of launching tough lawsuits and is rumored to have told a friend that he isn’t going to just roll over in this deal.

After a recording of Sterling’s racist private comments made to a girlfriend became public, NBA commissioner Adam Silver banned the Clippers owner for life and now the NBA owners are planning to take a vote about what they should do about the whole situation.

Most assume the owners will vote to try and force Sterling to sell his team and vacate the league. There are many reports that members of the owners group are saying that they think they already have the votes to sanction Sterling.

But, on the other hand, this is the United States of America and citizens have a certain expectation that something they have purchased with their own hard earned money is their property and they have certain rights to it.

CA Candidate That Lobbied For Obamacare Running as… a Republican?

Politics might make strange bedfellows, but this one really takes the cake. In California Elizabeth Emken is running for the 7th District U.S. House seat in an attempt to unseat Democrat Ami Bera. But even though Emken was a lobbyist for Obamacare, she is strangely running as a Republican and using Bera’s support for Obamacare as a weapon against him.

A recent fundraising email that Emken sent out, for instance, states: “As you pay your federal taxes today, I thought you’d like to know how much more Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Ami Bera have signed you up to pay over the next 10 years. Obamacare alone will cost the federal government $1.4 trillion to expand and subsidize health insurance coverage.”

“And to add insult to injury, the IRS is in charge of enforcing it,” her email continues. It ends saying, “I don’t know about you, but I believe we are taxed enough already. We need leaders who are willing to stand up for the taxpayers and help create a tax environment that encourages growth and productivity, not a government that punishes you for success.”

This is all good stuff and the standard GOP line against Obamacare. So, why is this so odd coming from Emken?

This story updated HERE.

Yesterday I wrote about how Democrats in Cincinnati threw a big welcome home party for a criminal convicted of vote fraud. Even MSNBC’s Al Sharpton, a man guilty of inciting to murder, came on down to Cincy to celebrate this criminal. Well, now, with the tale of a “queer theory” professor from the U of California who has been charged of physically assaulting a teenaged girl who was protesting abortion, I have yet another story that shows that to be a Democrat/liberal/communist is to be a supporter and promulgator of crime.

To recap, the Cincy story was that of vote fraud criminal Melowese Richardson who was convicted of voting six times in the 2012 elections. Race agitators convinced the state to release this criminal after only a few months in jail because RAAAAAAAACISM. Upon release, local Democrats and national headliners threw a big party for her celebrating her criminality and urging everyone to be juuuuuust like her.

I was noting that even though Democrats are criminals as a matter of course, at least they had the decency in days past to be ashamed of being convicted of some crime or another and acted duly chastised. These days they have no shame whatsoever and actually celebrate their criminal behavior as is obvious by the gala celebration given the Cincy criminal.

Well, this week we se yet another example of this criminality celebrated as all things good and right.

California Town’s Use of Eminent Domain on Water Company All Wet

A city government in California is thinking of illicitly using eminent domain to essentially steal a water company from its owners because residents are unhappy with their water bills. If they are unhappy now, it will get far worse once the government owns the water service. Once again California serves as an example of what not to do.

The city fathers of Claremont, California are attempting a move that should frighten every American, a move that would seem to prove that government thinks it has no limits on its power. With the claimed goal of keeping water rates low, the city is considering using eminent domain laws to force a local water company into allowing the city to take over its facilities and declare its resources government property.

Jon Coupal of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association explained the rules of eminent domain in a recent op ed.

First, under the U.S. Constitution, if government takes private property, it must pay just compensation. Moreover, under California law, when government attempts to seize a private utility, there is the additional requirement of a showing of need a seemingly insurmountable hurdle for the city of Claremont to justify replacing the current provider & Government cannot simply say they want to go into the water business to be able to use eminent domain.

Being unhappy about a water bill does not qualify for the city to invoke eminent domain.

No Gov’t Employee Should Make $400,000 a Year

A new transparency project has been launched in California that helps citizens learn just how much salary their government employees earn and the results are shocking. Hundreds of government workers make upwards to and more than $400,000 a year even as California drowns in taxes to pay for it all.

Over at Forbes, Mark Bucher reports of the new group Transparent California which has launched a new web portal where citizens can search out what public employees are earn in salary as well as what their pensions will be.

Some of these outrageous salaries will tend to choke you with rage.

“Consider Redwood City [population only 80,000],” Bucher writes, “where three fire captains and one firefighter made between $434,274 and $452,733 in total compensation in 2012. One police officer made $463,690 in total compensation. In all, nine employees made over $400,000 in total compensation with a total of 33, mostly police and fire department employees, making over $300,000 in total compensation in 2012.”

California’s Gun Confiscation Program Based on Faulty Gun Registry

If you need any proof at all that governments in this very country intend to use gun registries as a means to track down and confiscate our firearms, California is only the latest example to prove it.

California used its registry of guns to begin a program of confiscating guns from people they claim are “criminals.”

But the system the state has devised to identify these evil-doers seems to be quite screwed up. Just ask Bakersfield resident Michael Merritt who was confronted with this roving goon squad of cops that have been cruising the state and confiscating guns from people who may or may not be guilty of owning guns in violation of “the law.”

Longtime denizen of Hollywood, actress Maria Conchita Alonso, was fired from an acting job in California because she dared to appear in an ad for Republican candidate for governor Tim Donnelly.

Donnelly, a current California assemblyman, is now running for governor to replace the extremely left-wing Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown, the octogenarian liberal who is driving some of the final nails into California’s coffin.

At long last we get a proper ruling on the First Amendment status of bloggers, one affording them the same legal status as “real” journalists; this from the Ninth Circuit Court in California, no less.

The Ninth Circuit is often derided as the “Ninth Circus” because its rulings are almost invariably left-wing and anti-American. But this time the court made a sensible ruling, for sure.

Lawyer Eugene Volokh reports that the ruling in Obsidian Finance Group v. Cox (9th Cir. Jan. 17, 2014) holds that, “all who speak to the public, whether or not they are members of the institutional press, are equally protected by the First Amendment.”

A faux nativity scene featuring a makikin of a bleeding Trayvon Martin.

A California church has sponsored a “nativity scene” that outrageously turns violent Florida teen Trayvon Martin into a Christ figure showing him bleeding above the slogan “a child is born, a son is given.”

The faux nativity scene features wooden cutouts of traditional nativity figures but instead of a baby jesus, the display has a life-sized African American manikin wearing a black hoodie. The manikin has a stream of blood oozing from its chest and onto the ground staining its hands red.

The outrageous scene is part of a display by Claremont United Methodist Church in Inland Valley, California, which is about 30 miles east of Los Angeles.

According to the “artist” that created the display, the death of Trayvon Martin made him think of Jesus.

LIAR EXPOSED: Union Organizer Pretends to be Anti-Union Protester to Push Union Goals

Fake anti-union protester.

It turns out that the viral video depicting an uncaring, screaming “Google” employee that was attacking innocent union organizers in San Francisco ended up being a union organizer attempting to make a scene, gin up emotion in favor of unions and make Google employees look like elitist jerks who hate poor people. Yes, this guy turns out to be a liar.

Unions have been protesting the private bus line that Google set up to ferry its own employees from downtown San Francisco to its facilities in the city and the unions got a big boost from a viral video that seemed to show a jerk of a Google employee telling union members to move out of the city if they can’t afford to live there.

When the video first began to make the rounds on the Internet it was presented as a mean Google guy attacking poor, innocent (and female) union organizers making Google and its employees look bad.

High Cigarette Taxes Bring Little Revenue and New Crime

Rumors are once again rumbling in the cash-starved, big spenders in California’s legislature to raise tobacco taxes. But does this work? History says that not only does the tax hike rarely bring in more money to the state the hike also causes more crime as criminals move in with black market good s at cheaper prices.

Once again the denizens of Sacramento are looking to a huge hike in taxes. Earlier this year Senator Kevin de Leon floated a scheme to raise taxes by two dollars a pack for cigarettes.

Democrats claim that this will bring in millions of dollars in new taxes a year but other states have tried this and found that instead of bringing in what legislators thought would come in all they got was more black market crimes and cigarette smuggling.

In 2012, for instance, the State of New York raised cigarette taxes yet still had a $130 million shortfall. The new taxes did not bring in what Empire State legislators projected.

But this is the least of the problems that large hikes in tobacco taxes bring to a state. The biggest problem is that it also brings a hike in crime.

In the run up to the 2012 election an out-of-state, conservative, anti-tax group put upwards to $11 million into the effort to fight tax hikes in California. Immediately left-leaning groups cried foul and state authorities filed all sorts of charges against the political spending trying to force the group to disclose donors. Now that case has been settled and on terms favorable to the conservative group.

The One million dollar fine settlement was agreed upon between authorities and Arizona-based non-profits, Americans for Responsible Leadership and the Center to Protect Patient Rights (CPPR). The group Americans for Job Security were also a part of the coalition.

CPPR entered the California elections to fight Governor Jerry Brown’s tax hike scheme as well as to advocate for a ballot measure to fight overarching union power. Once in the ring, though, the $11 million being spent was attacked.

At issue is a California law that forces donor disclosure of groups spending on state-centered issue advocacy. Federal law does not require Political action groups to disclose donors.

But here’s the thing: they aren’t “Republican” buttons.

You see, HuffyPo posted the story without noting that these buttons are not sanctioned by the party or any particular politician.

California Democrat Official Tells GOP Woman He Hopes Her Kids Die

Proving once again that the Democrat Party is the “more loving” and “more caring” Party, a Democrat Party official in California told a female Republican operative who opposes Obamacare that he hoped her children would “all die from debilitating, painful and incurable diseases.”

Sacramento County Democratic Party communications chair Allan Brauer was so upset by Amanda Carpenter’s advocacy of defunding ruinous Obamacare that he jumped to his Twitter account to show how much hate is in the heart of Democrats.

Carpenter is a speechwriter for Republican Senator Ted Cruz and acts as his senior communications advisor, so apparently that was enough for Democrat Brauer to wish that her children would die. Carpenter Tweeted that the GOP had “beat gun control” and “changed Obama’s mind on Syria,” so she thought we could “defund Obamacare, too!” This set Brauer off to Tweet the following…

At first this creep dug in and was defending his hate-filled, Democrat BS. But it wasn’t long before even other Democrats started to complain that he was making them look bad.

These bills are ready for Governor Brown’s signature in Sacramento, the state capitol.

Schwyzer obviously had some sort of breakdown on August 9 when he took to Twitter and went on an hour-long, self-deprecating tirade. All this came after it was revealed that he’d been involved in a sexting scandal with a porn star named Christiana Parriera.

After the Anthony Weiner-like mess was revealed, Schwyzer disappeared from social media, but on Friday he came back with a vengeance.

With near 100 Tweets, Schwyzer admitted that he is a fraud and a “hypocrite.”

He called himself as a “breathtakingly cocky fraud,” and announced that he wanted the truth to come out.

We all, individuals and businesses alike, have this basic assumption that when we put our money in a bank it is safe. But is it? Apparently not so much as the experience of small business TRC indicates when hackers reached into the company’s California-based bank account and drained it of nearly $300 thousand. Worse, the bank and CEO Dennis R. Woods is claiming no responsibility for the security in their own bank!

Jon Fleischman of California’s premier political blog The Flash Report recently updated his readers to the ongoing lawsuit in this tale of cyber theft.

In 2011 cyber hackers out of Eastern Europe broke into the accounts of California’s United Security Bank (USB) and drained almost $600 thousand from the accounts of TRC Operating Company (TRC) out of Kern County, California. California Police Dept. Asks Postmen, Garbage Collectors to Help Spot Crime

The police department in Antioch, California is so short handed it has taken the unusual step of asking mail carriers and garbage men to help them fight crime by becoming their eyes and ears on the street.

In the small town, employees of the local garbage collection service, Republic Services Inc., and letter carriers of the U.S. Postal Service have been given special tips on how to spot crime on the streets. Police have dubbed the program, “We’re Looking Out For You,” and hope to add more eyes to their force to keep the town’s 105,000 residents safe

Workers in the two separate fields will be given training and laminated cards with a list of questions intended to sharpen their powers of observation. The cards also have the department’s non-emergency phone number on them so that garbage collectors and mailmen can report anything they might see as they go about their daily business.

Democrat State Senator Kevin De Leon has introduced a plan to hike cigarette taxes (SB 768 ) in order to pay for more state spending. But this idea is nothing new and has been defeated several times before. Even law enforcement has been against these tax hikes because such plans embolden dangerous criminals

States with high tobacco taxes like New York have reported higher levels of black-market smuggling, a big source of money for gangs and organized crime. By one 2011 estimate three of every five cigarettes smoked in the Empire State was purchased illegally.

Increasing tobacco taxes in California–especially at the extreme rate proposed by De Leon–will bring the same type of crime as that experienced in New York.

But this question has been dealt with by law enforcement in California in the past.

Law enforcement has identified trafficking of black market cigarette sales as a growing problem that costs California hundreds of millions a year in lost tax revenues which is one of the reasons why the LA Deputy Sheriffs opposed higher cigarette taxes in the past.
