Democrat Staffer Threatens Writer With Attack By IRS

Well, one American found out that calling a Congresscritter could result in an attack on him by the IRS just because he had the gall to call and ask questions.

A writer for PJ Media called the office of Texas Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee and instead of being treated professionally by this woman’s staffers, the writer was called names and his questions were ignored.

The writer called the Democrat’s office because on the floor of Congress she uttered an outright lie and the writer was seeking a comment on the incident.

On July 30, Jackson Lee said that Democrats “did not seek an impeachment of President Bush, because as an executive, he had the authority.”

Paying Off Obama’s Buddies: Another Way Illegal Aliens Are Wasting Your Tax Dollars

As Obama starts shipping tens of thousands of these illegal alien minors all across the nation to be housed in cities everywhere, your tax dollars follow them and some of this money is going to Obama’s pals in liberal organizations and unions to care for these children all paid for by you and me.

Obama is pumping billions of dollars into the feeding and care of hundreds of thousands of illegals who have swamped our southern border expecting–and getting–all sorts of freebies not to mention expecting to become instant citizens. But it isn’t just the billions he is spending at the border going on in this mounting crisis. Obama is also billions on these illegals in other parts of the country.

In Illinois, for instance, several left-wing groups, including the Service Employees International Union (SEIU)–all huge supporters of Obama–are getting hundreds of thousands of tax dollars to care for illegals shipped from Texas to the Windy City.

Liberal Woman Can’t Understand Why Her Vote Raises Her Taxes

Austin, Texas is the most liberal section of the Lone Star State. It is the state capital and a college town, so you know it is jammed full of half-witted liberals. And if you need a perfect example of that liberal mental disorder the Austin American-Statesman had a great one with an interview with a liberal voter who just couldn’t understand why her vote for every liberal plan on the ballot ended up making her taxes go up every year.

On May 31, the Statesman published a story on how Austiners are looking for ways to stop the city from constantly raising taxes. Within that story was a very stupid woman named Gretchen Gardner who calls herself an “artist.”

Good ol’ self-identified lefty Gretchen said that her tax bill was just killing her and she just couldn’t understand why.

Now, catch this logical disconnect:

Stupid Democrat Thinks 225-Year-Old Constitution is 400 Years Old

One of the dumbest democrats in Congress is Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee. She has said many, many stupid things and this week she unleashed another one saying that the U.S., Constitution is 400 years old. This occurred yesterday and I was going to skip the story, but I just can’t let it pass un-mentioned.

This dolt of a human being made the comment on the floor of the House during the debate on the lawless president that sits in the White House. The GOP has floated a law that would hold this criminal president to the law. Plainly enough, the law is titled the Enforce The Law Act and was introduced by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R, SC).

Naturally, Obama is threatening to veto a law that tells him to follow the law. Think about that for a second. Obama wants to be given carte blanche to break the law and is upset anyone would expect him to be a law-abiding chief executive.

This president plans to be a criminal and wants Congress to give him blanket dispensation to be one.

What We’ve Come To: When A Congresswoman Doesn’t Know What Congress Does

Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee from Texas thinks it is the job of Congress to write a President’s Executive Orders. Apparently she doesn’t “get” that Obama is in the executive branch (hence the “executive” part of the Executive Orders) and she is in the legislative branch.

Jackson Lee made these ill-informed comments during a January 29 press conference ostensibly to tout the Democrat’s Full Employment Caucus (what ever that is supposed to mean).

As she spoke, Jackson Lee claimed that she hoped that Congress could “give President Obama a number of executive orders that he can sign.”

Influenza cases were reported in every corner of the United States last year, killing at least 6 children. Some of the cases have been linked to the dreaded H1N1 strain of the flu, a strain that has killed 284,000 people across the world since 2009.

Thus far in this current flu season, Texas has been hardest hit. 25 Texans have died so far. North Carolina has also seen a large outbreak with 13 deaths.

Symptoms of the flu can be mild or severe and hit the youngest and oldest citizens the hardest. Take a sore throat, weakness, headache and aches and pains seriously. Other symptoms include joint and muscle pain and itchiness of the eyes.

Five Houston, Texas school bus drivers have been disciplined for supposedly “misusing school equipment” by using bus radios to pray for a co-worker whose daughter was killed by a car as she walked to school.

The five Houston Independent School District bus drivers had “disciplinary letters” placed in their employment files for using a back channel to pray together after another driver’s 12-year-old daughter was run down while walking home from school on December 16, the media reported.

In response to this unfair disciplinary action, several drivers, their union representatives, and local ministers gathered in front of the Houston schools administration building to publicly protest the move and also to publicly pray for a resolution to the situation.

You’ll Never Guess Who is Charged with a ‘Hate Crime’ for the ‘Knockout Game’

All across the country African American teens have been perpetrating the “knockout game,” a crime where teens run up behind a white person and attempt to punch them hard enough with one hit to knock them out. This black on white crime has been considered a “hate crime” by many but there never been a case prosecuted as a hate crime… until now. And, naturally, it’s a white guy being charged!

With all the hundreds of attacks by blacks on white people, not one charge of a “hate crime” has been leveled at these criminals. But now we are finally seeing one of these attacks prosecuted as a hate crime. But the perpetrator is white, of course. In Texas, a white man named Conrad Alvin Barrett, 27, has been charged with a so-called hate crime for a “knockout game” attack on an elderly black man.

On November 24, Barrett snuck up behind a 79-year-old African American man and hit him hard enough to send him sprawling to the ground. Then witnesses said that Barrett laughed and said “knockout game,” to his victim.

The federal complaint reports that the elderly victim suffered two fractures to his jaw and had to undergo surgery to have two metal plates installed so that the fractures could heal. He also lost three teeth to the surgery and spent four days in the hospital.

Texas Democrat, Sheila Jackson-Lee, wants Congress to act. She thinks we need to pay unemployment payments to people… who are already working.

No, seriously. On the floor of the House, Jackson-Lee blabbered that Congress needs to vote. “Let us vote to provide for unemployment insurance for working men and women,” she blared.

“So we can’t be only about our self in this holiday season, particularly as we recognize that the Pope being made man of the year has spoken to the world eloquently about this whole issue of the vulnerable,” Jackson-Lee pompously began.

An administrator at a Houston, Texas area high school is under fire for scolding girls for “dressing like hoes” at school.

School Support Officer Dr. Tameca Richardson made the comment at an assembly on the campus of Jack Yates High School in Houston, reports say.

Dr. Richardson warned girls to stop “dressing like hoes” in order to better abide by the school dress code.

But once word got home to parents, some complained that Dr. Richardson used inappropriate language to urge kids to dress better.

A report from North Texas reveals that the federal government is creating illegal roadblocks in 30 cities demanding that drivers give them blood samples, cheek swabs for DNA, and/or breathalyzer tests.

NBC TV in Dallas Fort Worth revealed a woman who told them that she was waved over to a parking lot by Fort Worth police. Once in the parking lot government workers demanded that she give them DNA or blood.

The drivers were told everything was voluntary and that no testing would be done without their consent but that turned out to be a lie as the consent form clearly shows that testing was done by a remote testing device as the drivers were approached and even before they were told why they were pulled over.

NBC had a civil liberties expert tell them that this was all quite illegal. Police cannot randomly pull people over without cause.

Did This White Candidate Win Election Pretending to be Black?

Candidate Dave Wilson was the surprise winner of the District 2 seat in Tuesday’s Houston, Texas Community College Board Trustee election. It was a “surprise” because Wilson is white and District 2 is a Houston inner city electorate. But some are crying foul because Wilson sent out a pretty misleading flyer making it seem like both he and his supporters were black.

The big winner, Dave Wilson, fully admits that this was all a campaign of political mischief. “I didn’t expect to win,” he told KHOU 11 TV after his big upset victory.

The incumbent, one Bruce Austin, an African American, has been elected and re-elected to the District 2 seat for 24 years and his loss on Election Day came as an unwelcome surprise. It did sort of seem he was talking it with a bit of humor in the TV report, though.

In the KHOU report, Austin says, “I don’t think it’s good for both democracy and the whole concept of fair play. But that was not his intent, apparently [then he chuckles].”

So, what did Dave Wilson do that was so underhanded?

Senator Ted Cruz (R, TX) has not backed off from his drive to destroy the President’s disastrous take over of our healthcare system with his Obamacare scheme and this weekend he was in Iowa bucking up the troops and urging a “grassroots army” to rise up and dismantle Obamacare.

Cruz was appearing before a crowd in Akron, Iowa on Friday, October 25 in three days of events that many think indicates he’s considering a run for President in 2016.

Cruz says he is only focused on his work in the Senate now, but if he does look to a run for the White House, Iowa is a traditional place to start to raise his profile.

Whatever his goals for the future, for today he is still beating the drum to defeat Obamacare and he made some excellent points about the hypocrisy of the left, the Democrats and the Old Media complex (but I thrice repeat myself) that attacked those that wanted to delay and defund Obamacare.

Texas Congressman Slams RINO John McCain

Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert is sick to death of RINO Republicans like Arizona senator John McCain, dubbed John McLame by most conservatives. Though he didn’t exactly name the RINO from Arizona, he certainly painted quite a picture last weekend slamming him.

Gohmert was speaking during a panel discussion at the Values Voter Summit that was held over the weekend of October 12 and the discussion moved toward the current budget impasse in DC.

Gohmert then brought up “some senator from Arizona” as he prepared to slam John McCain in a thinly veiled reference.

“I heard just before I came some senator from Arizona,” Gohmert said to laughter from the audience. “A guy that liked Qadaffi before he wanted to bomb him, a guy that liked Mubarak before he wanted him out, a guy that’s been to Syria and supported Al-Qaeda and rebels. But he was saying today ‘The shutdown has been a fool’s errand.’ And I agree with him. The President and Harry Reid should not have shut this government down,” he said to great applause.

Again showing how easy it is to have conservatives blocked or removed from Facebook, the new video campaign ad for Dan Branch, the Republican candidate for Texas Attorney General, was removed from the social media giant for “community standards” violations.

The ad, a fairly standard campaign ad, was removed and the candidate’s page blocked likely because Branch’s opponents flagged the Facebook posting.

The theme of the ad is “Come And Take It!,” and is filled with images of flags, pledges, hand holding, people in prayer, and talk of limited government, traditional marriage, and pro-life issues. It’s all pretty standard fare, especially for a Texas Republican.

Texas Planned Parenthood Abortion Mill Defrauded Medicaid to Tune of $1.4 Million

In Texas, abortion mill operators Planned Parenthood has been found to have defrauded Medicaid to the tune of $1.4 million and is being ordered to repay the stolen money.

In 2012, a former employee of Planned Parenthood’s Gulf Coast offices filed a whistleblower’s complaint with the Attorney General of Texas and the U.S. Department of Justice. The whistleblower alleged that Planned Parenthood engaged in an elaborate Medicaid fraud scheme.

The whistleblower, Karen Reynolds, submitted internal memos and other records to prove that PP engaged in a “systemwide scheme to bilk Medicaid, Title XX, and the Women’s Health Program of tens of millions of dollars over the course of at least a decade.”

Reynolds charged that PP indulged a long running practice of billing for medial services that were never performed. PP also altered records to make it seem as if abortions provided were actually other medical services and not abortions.

The whistleblower also said that PP would load visitors up with condoms, vaginal film, and other give-aways and would then charge Medicaid for the products.

With its recent Tweet about Texas Democrat Wendy Davis, the Associated Press seems to have given up all pretense of the journalist’s “nonpartisan” creed by tweeting the hashtag of left-wing activists along with the news.

Democrat State Senator Davis made a name for herself at the end of June by holding a new Texas abortion bill hostage by launching a filibuster that thrilled the hearts of pro-abortion activists in Texas and across the country. Her supporters began to use the Twitter hashtag #StandWithWendy to support her on that social media outlet.

A hashtag is a short code meant to help Twitter users search for Tweets with a specific message. It can be used for humor, advertising or political activism. Activists of all sorts use hashtags to spur like-minded Twitterers to action. But it is an activist’s tool, to be sure.

Yet now the AP is using that activist’s tool appearing to throw its support behind the left-wingers supporting Davis.

Here is how the AP Tweeted about its latest story out of Texas:

Texas’ Wendy Davis: Restricting Abortion is ‘Demonizing Women’

Texas State Senator Wendy Davis made a name for herself at the end of June by launching a filibuster on the floor of the state senate to stop new regulations on abortion in The Lone Star State, and now she is warning Governor Perry to “stop demonizing women” by pursuing such restrictions.

The bill Perry supports would place new requirements of cleanliness and safety on Texas abortion mills, rules that opponents of the bill say would shut down many abortionists. This, Davis claims is “demonizing women.”

On CNN with Wolf Blitzer Sen. Davis addressed Governor Perry directly. “Gov. Perry…let’s stop demonizing women who face very difficult choices in their life. Let’s make sure that we don’t close down 37 of the 42 clinics in Texas and leave women with nowhere to go and put them in a situation where there health will be at risk,” she said.

Turning Texas Blue: Obama Tours Austin

President Obama recently conducted a “tech tour” of Austin, Texas looking to get more federal money sent to support Austin’s tech boom.

The visit is part of a new campaign Obama is conducting across the country to cajole Congress into adopting some of the economic ideas he offered in his last State of the Union speech and his budget proposal.

In a visit to Applied Materials Inc., Obama said, “We’re poised for a time of progress, if we’re willing to seize it.”

The “it” he wants seized is greater federal spending. Obama has a long history on supporting “green” and tech spending on failed companies like Solyndra, Fisker Motors, and a score of other such bankrupted companies.

The President also warned that if Congress allowed “sequestration” to cut off funds to tech companies and research “We could end up losing our edge” to companies in Asia.

Touting his ideas of “civility” in politics, Texas Democrat Nick Lampson instead physically pushed at a blogger and tried to grab his video camera away from him.

In the beginning of the encounter, Democrat Lampson is seen calmly discussing with the blogger his ideas of a “center aisle caucus,” a plan that he claimed would bring “more civility” to Congress. Lampson insisted, though, that it was current Speaker of the House John Boehner (R, OH) who “tore it apart.” When the blogger brought up the extremely divisive politics of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D, CA) and asked how her un-democratic policies affected his so-called “center aisle caucus,” suddenly Mr. Texas calm and collected got angry and physically attacked the blogger.

Lampson is running for the 14th Congressional District in Texas and was a Texas Congressman once before. The 14th is a Houston area district situated south and east of the coastal city.

Many Americans wonder if members of Congress, especially the Democrats, know anything at all about the U.S. Constitution. Well, Democrat Rep. Rubén Hinojosa of Texas didn’t help quell those fears very much when at a recent rally he couldn’t even remember which one the Second Amendment was.

Rep. Hinojosa was asked about the Second Amendment at a recent event but the 15th District Congressman was just a bit hazy on the whole thing.

“There are so many people in Washington who come and talk to us about the Constitution and the rights that they want kept sacred and that not do anything about them. That we not change them. That we not amend them. And I can tell you that — I’m drawing a blank on the Second Amendment, but I think it’s the weapons, isn’t it? The NRA?”

Hinojosa then went on to ramble about why we have to have “those machine guns.”

“Why in the hell do we have to have machine guns? And don’t touch that, because NRA will come and put you on the black list,” he rambled.

Of course, such weapons have already been outlawed and few Americans have a license to own “machine guns.” Further, the NRA does not fight to try and allow Americans access to such weapons.

The first national True The Vote Summit was conducted by those who in 2010 successfully rooted out vote fraud in Harris County, Texas. In 2011 folks from 27 different states were in attendance to learn how the Harris County effort was conducted in hopes of replicating the same back home, but with the hard lessons already learned by their hosts.

Last year’s summit was wildly successful and this year a new schedule of speakers will help inform and educate those in attendance on the state of our elections system today and what needs to be done to correct the major problems we are experiencing.

Obama’s Dept. of Justice Rejects Texas Voter I.D. Law

The Obama administration’s Department of Justice under embattled Attorney General Eric Holder has rejected Texas’ pre-clearance application for its new voter ID law. The feds say the state did not prove that the law will not discriminate against minority voters, especially Hispanics.

DOJ’s head of the civil rights division, Tom Perez, sent a six-page letter to the Texas director of elections saying that Texas had not “sustained its burden” of proof under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act to show that the law will not disenfranchise the roughly 11 percent of Hispanic voters that have no state-issued identification.

Anticipating the Obama administration’s decision, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott filed a federal lawsuit in February to have the law implemented immediately. Washington has until April 9 to respond to the lawsuit.

AG Abbott contends that Eric Holder’s Department of Justice is acting on political grounds, not legal.

Texas Dems Fundraiser Falsehoods, Wisc. Dems, More False Accusations Against True The Vote

-By Warner Todd Huston

Using falsehoods to sell candidates to voters has an unfortunate but long history in these United States. It is bad enough when mud is slung between single candidates in hard fought electoral contests, but when official communications from established political parties is based on outright falsehoods, one has to take a step back. Such is the case with the Texas Democrat Party attacking the voter integrity group True The Vote in a recent fundraising letter.

The Texas Democrat Party sent out a fundraising letter on February 29 alerting Texas Democrat donors that Houston-based True The Vote had gotten involved in the Wisconsin recall petition signature verification effort. Sadly, the Party decided use incendiary language to paint a negative picture of the voter integrity group and cast a long list of falsehoods against them in order to cajole dollars out of donors. (See image of letter here)

Calling the group an “infamous voter intimidation group,” for instance, is beyond that pale. This is a claim made solely by True The Vote’s enemies, not one actually proven as true. One would think that a legitimate state party would not use blatantly false statements in official communications, but here we see it anyway.
