Friends at Liberty University: Dump Driscoll!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

My friends at Liberty University made a major mistake when they had Mark Driscoll at their school. Mark is a very successful pastor and author, and is known as “the cussing preacher.” Ministers should be known for wisdom, knowledge, godliness, kindness, fairness, generosity not cursing, carnality, and crassness! I hope Liberty officials realize their mistake and will drop Driscoll from their list of speakers.

Driscoll preaches many truths that I hold dear and no doubt he is a very effective communicator; however, to purposefully use profanity to “pump up” his sermons and to appeal to youth is really bizarre as well as sinful. If I had sat on his ordination counsel, I would demand he return his ministerial credentials. He should be selling insurance or used cars not corrupting his immature audience.

Many Southern Baptist Churches (where 30% of pastors do not have a biblical worldview!) have engaged Driscoll to preach for them. At the Axxess Church in Arlington, Texas he was told that swearing might fly in Seattle but not in Texas. Rather than take the suggestion (warning) Driscoll used the F word in his first statement! He later apologized.

Space Aliens Would Think We Are Insane!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Recently a global warming fanatic (who now uses the term, “climate change” since there is no proof of man-caused global warming) made a shocking statement: “Any rational being coming to our planet from outer space would say ‘There is a species here that has gone insane.'”

Like most fanatics, he makes some gargantuan leaps in his thinking especially when he makes an assumption of space aliens even existing; then he presumes they are rational! After all, if humans are not rational, why would we expect make-believe aliens to be? Humans are not rational and I agree that any close look at our society would tend to indicate that we are also insane!

I seldom agree with environmental fanatics but am inclined to think he may be correct. So what evidence suggests that space aliens might think we are a planet of insane people?

Google’s Poor & Defiant Settlement Record

-By Scott Cleland

Google’s poor and defiant track record in respecting government agreements and settlements is likely one of the reasons the FTC hired an undefeated former Federal prosecutor and litigator to lead their Google antitrust probe and potential litigation against Google. The EU and the FTC are naturally exceptionally skeptical about negotiating an antitrust settlement with Google, given the substantial evidence that shows Google is consistently less-than-trustworthy in abiding by its agreements with Governments.

Specifically, the evidence shows that Google has not abided by either of its privacy agreements with the FTC concerning Street-View WiSpy or Google-Buzz, nor has Google fully-abided by its criminal Non-Prosecution-Agreement with the DOJ concerning its advertising of illegal prescription drug imports. In addition, Google attempted to broadly game the justice system in negotiating a Google Book Settlement that would have rewarded it with a partial monopoly for its mass copyright infringement.

Bob Beckel: Christians Don’t Talk That Way On or Off the Air!

Bob Beckel: Christians Don’t Talk That Way On or Off the Air!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Recently I was watching Hannity on Fox while speaking in Tucson and spending time with long-time friends. Bob Beckel, thinking the show was on a commercial break, used the F word. Hannity suggested that he apologize; however, he refused, saying incorrectly that they were not on the air. (As if that mattered!) The panel assured him that the vulgar word was heard by the nation-wide audience. Beckel humbly, although reluctantly, apologized. There is a difference in an apology, even a sincere one, and repentance.

Beckel then blamed Hannity for not steering the show correctly thereby relieving himself of blame! What he and almost all media personalities don’t understand is that the word should never be used. Christians should never use the word and should confess it as sin if they do. A lame apology will not do. Beckel claims to be a Christian but only he and God know for sure. The fact is: he used a foul, wicked word that is used by uncouth, unthinking, uncaring, uneducated people.

Even non-Christians should not use that and other vulgar words. A few years ago, even the most rude, crude, and lewd men did not use such words in decent company especially in the presence of women. Now, even women are using the term. Yes, the times, they are a-changin’! For the worst.

Government Hugging of Churches Results in Crushing!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

When Diocletian came to the throne, the Roman Empire was gasping for breath. Inflation was rampant, so like most incompetent politicians, he instituted wage and price controls that have never worked! Of course, shortages immediately resulted. As the economy began to collapse, Diocletian persecuted the Christians, trying to divert the peoples’ attention from the sick and dying economy. Then, in 305, he abdicated, the first emperor to do so.

In 312, Constantine became the emperor, and he soon made Christianity a lawful religion. I am convinced that he was a hypocrite, and was one of the worse things that happened to the Christians.

Yes, things started going better for the suffering Christians, but from our present perspective, Constantine was not a blessing but a curse. The Christians settled down and relaxed, and began to prosper. They built church buildings (the first in the Third Century), and began to amass silver and gold. Slowly, a state church began to take shape in Rome, and by 381, Theodosius I made Christianity the official state religion.

Are Civil Rights Leaders Responsible or Reprehensible?

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

The recent killing of a black teen in Florida is being used as a vehicle to advance the notoriety and personal prosperity of “civil rights” leaders (preachers) who have proved that they are more adept at protesting than preaching. After all, there are big bucks in protesting. These shysters are turning a tragedy into tension and turmoil. Their actions are demonic, devious, and dangerous if not deadly. They are not simply pathetic buffoons.

George Zimmerman is a neighborhood watcher who was supposed to be suspicious of strangers who act in an unusual way in his neighborhood. He saw Trayvon Martin walking around in the dark off the sidewalk near the homes so George reported it to 911. Allegedly, there was an altercation as George found himself on his back with Trayvon pounding his head into the sidewalk. George managed to get to his legally possessed gun and killed his attacker. George had a broken nose and his attacker had no injuries except a bullet hole. After receiving facial and head injuries, what is a man supposed to do but use his gun?

In the beginning, the media showed a much younger victim and a very negative, unpleasant assailant. There were photos of a young Trayvon as a football player, skier, etc.; however, that was political shenanigans to manipulate emotions of the gullible populace. Some members of Congress opined that Trayvon was “Shot down like a rabid dog” and was “shot in cold blood.” Those black racists should be thrown out of congress, and could assume new positions as “civil rights” leaders.

The Answer to School Shootings is MORE Guns!

The Answer to School Shootings is MORE Guns!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

It is very serious and is not hyperbole to state that the answer to school shootings is more guns. I believe that school shootings, such as last week’s tragedy at the Christian university in California, would disappear if everyone knew that each school had two or three teachers (or administrators) who were armed and considered dangerous (to the bad guys), and willing to defend the defenseless. Guns are not the problem. People are.

Liberals booted God from the schools: no prayer, no Bible reading, no Ten Commandments, no teaching based upon the Bible. No speaking of Christ. After all, kids might really take those teachings to heart. They may decide not to lie, steal, fornicate, rape, and kill! They might honor and obey their parents, the law, and school officials. They might become kind, gracious, fair, honest, and principled! Heavens, we can’t have that can we! After all, secularists have demanded a secular society. Well, we have it and our schools have become Ignorance Factories, sex clinics, self-esteem laboratories, sports clubs, and occasional “killing fields.”

I am weary of hearing radical leftists whine about how guns are corrupting youth and are a deadly threat to all our citizens especially those in schools. However, guns are inanimate while people are initiators, so the problem is not with guns but with people. Anti-gun parents are horrified to see their small children playing with toy or imaginary guns and “shooting” each other. Has the world gone insane? Most of us grew up “shooting” other kids. I “shot” friends with wooden guns, cap pistols, sticks and even my finger! Never once did I consider getting my dad’s shotgun or .38 revolver to really shoot anyone.

Should Christians Obey Official Thugs?

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Christian leaders, who should be the first to warn of any kind of danger to their followers, are too often more concerned with maintaining their reputations than in fulfilling their responsibilities. They are afraid of offending government by taking a strong stand; yet they do not seem to be concerned with offending God by their cowardice. Augustine of Hippo spoke to this issue when he said that “godless civil rulers are no more than bands of robbers,” yet many preachers have made the robbers equal with God or above His Word!

I have often been asked why major Christian leaders cannot see the harm they are doing in keeping silent about Christian resistance, and the answer is not easy. Many religious leaders have refused to look at the issue, while others have looked and have been scared to death! The fearful group will often preach about taking a strong stand for principle as long as they don’t have to take that stand! They live in cold fear deep in the valley of compromise.

Then there are other religious leaders who tell us that they will resist only when they can no longer preach the tenets of their faith. (With most of these men, I believe it is the cop-out of the ages.) Frankly, many preachers have not been known to admit their failures very quickly!

Is Christian Resistance Ever Right?

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Bible Christians (as opposed to churchy “Christians”) have always known that they must obey God in all things. The Bible has precedence over all authority! However, most Christians have never considered the possibility of disobeying authorities when those authorities become oppressive. We have been taught that if it is law, it is right and should be obeyed; however, that is simply not true as proved with many Bible examples.

Frederic Bastiat, the French authority on law, wrote, “There is in all of us a strong disposition to believe that anything lawful is also proper. This belief is so widespread that many persons have erroneously held that things are just because the law makes them so.” But laws cannot make something just. It can make anything legal (abortion, homosexuality, etc.) but not just.

I am not obligated to resist every unjust law nor every unconstitutional law, but I am obligated to resist any law that conflicts with Bible principles such as a license to preach. The 55 mile per hour speed limit was a ridiculous law, but it did not conflict with the Bible. We are told it saved lives, but if officials really want to save lives, they could enforce a 35 mile per hour limit! (If government really wants to save lives, they would do something about liquor and drug laws, but don’t hold your breath.)

Does Any Reporter Have the Courage to Ask Obama These Questions?

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I have not tried to disguise my disagreement, distrust, disgust, and dissatisfaction with President Obama. While McCain would have taken America over the cliff, he would have done so at 65 miles per hour while Obama has done it at 100 miles per hour. Whatever the speed, we have gone over the cliff and are about to smack the bottom. This administration is the most incompetent, inefficient, irresponsible, immoral, and inept in U.S. history.

The only positive thing I saw in Obama’s election was that it was obvious proof that we are not a racist nation–except for the 93% of Blacks who voted for him because he was black (well, half black). Additionally, the pathetic insecure whites who voted for him for the same reason–color, not convictions or character is absolute proof of racism.

I thought that his election would remove the race card and we could all discuss, debate, and disagree in a civil, educated, and even gracious way. But that was not in the cards, but what is always in the cards is the race card that bigots pull out at every opportunity, especially when they can’t answer Conservatives. And frankly, even if his election were sufficient proof that we are not bigots, the results were not worth it. I would rather be thought of as a bigot than live in a totalitarian, socialist (Communist) state.

Responsible Militancy Missing in Christian Leaders!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

If anyone is expected to be principled in their leadership, it is Christian leaders; however, most modern leaders, even Evangelical/Fundamental leaders seem to be limp-wristed, wimpy, self-seeking office holders. Yes, there are a few exceptions as expressed by a few hundred pastors who will not permit the IRS to influence what they preach to their flock. Those pastors made a vow to always teach, preach, and write the truth whatever the results. It seems they took their vows seriously. Most do not.

I am impressed with most Catholic leaders who contend that this administration will never succeed in making them change their church doctrine and convictions to submit to government authority. We will see if they mean “never.” Will Catholics really close churches, colleges, and hospitals in obedience to principle or become pragmatic and give in “just once.”

Most preachers, even in my Evangelical/Fundamentalist crowd, have had their spines removed upon graduation from seminary or at their ordination. They often seem to line up with such “loosey-goosey” evangelical leaders as Jim Wallis, Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, and the Christianity Today crowd. They are more interested in appearing to be gentlemen than in being obedient to God. They appear to be more interested in not offending the “wolf” (whom they are supposed to protect against) than in protecting the sheep.

Damascus Must be Destroyed!

Damascus Must be Destroyed!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Every time Cato the Elder (born 234 B.C.) spoke to the Roman Senate, whatever the subject, he ended each speech with, “And Carthage [on the coast of North Africa] must be defeated.” After many years, it was.
Likewise, Damascus, Syria is the oldest inhabited city in the world and will be destroyed as was predicted in Isaiah 17:1, “Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.” Is that prophesy about to take place before our eyes on television news?

Flavius Josephus in his Antiquities of the Jews, reveals that Damascus was founded by Uz, the son of Aram. He reports that Nicolaus of Damascus, in the fourth book of his History, says, “Abraham reigned at Damascus, being a foreigner, who came with an army out of the land above Babylon, called the land of the Chaldeans: but, after a long time, he got him up, and removed from that country also, with his people, and went into the land then called the land of Canaan, but now the land of Judea.” That means Damascus was a thriving city by about 2000 B.C. since that was the approximate date of Abraham’s birth.

The almost dry Barada River (Cold River) runs through Damascus and is the same as the Abana River mentioned in relation to Captain Naaman as recorded in II Kings 5:12. In the 80’s I did a driving tour from Jerusalem to Amman (Jordan) to Damascus to Beirut, Lebanon. I visited Damascus and spent time at the Abana River as well as the street called Straight mentioned in relation to the Apostle Paul. The street is two miles long and is now in a very poor area whereas in Paul’s day it was a magnificent thoroughfare lined with columns.

Sluts Without Shame!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Since the Fall of man, the earth has been cursed with women (and men) who used their bodies in illicit ways. They have been called loose women, prostitutes, whores, fallen women, and sluts; however, in earlier days, there was a sense of shame and disgrace in their activities. Even Hollywood lowlifes tried to be discrete. While “slut” is considered offensive, so is the lifestyle.

When I was young, if an unmarried woman got pregnant, she was sent to “visit her grandmother” for a few months. The family still loved her, wanted the best for her, forgave her, but there was a lasting sense of shame. But those days are long gone. Society calls it “reproductive freedom” but God calls it whoredom; and status, beauty, money, and education don’t change anything.

Yes, any of our unmarried daughters can get pregnant and it is a heartbreaking situation, but when it happens again and again, the young woman is a slut, whether she is my daughter or yours. Of course, getting pregnant doesn’t make her a slut, being sexually immoral does. Sex outside of marriage is always wrong.

What Everyone is Missing About Obama’s Attack on Catholics!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Why would Obama, who wants to be re-elected in 2012, do something as stupid as taunting and attacking the powerful Roman Catholic Church with its 70 million U.S. members? Is he dumb as a box of rocks or is he such an ideologue that his radical, God-hating agenda is more important than a second term?

Obama threw down the gauntlet at the feet of Catholic leaders when he decided that all Catholic institutions must cover contraception and abortion in their insurance coverage of employees. Catholic leaders got their knickers in a knot and lost control as they went ballistic.

Catholics simply cannot cave on this issue or they will commit institutional suicide. How can a religious organization teach, preach, and write against these issues and yet provide those services? They cannot if it is a conviction, but they can if it is only a convenience. For Catholic leaders to say that they will fight in the courts and the streets but after losing those battles, they may “be forced to capitulate” is insanity. If they have convictions, then they will not, under any conditions, obey that law. Period.

In Defense of Washington’s Four-legged Rats!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I have been attacked by dog and cat lovers because of my column, “No Dogs, Ducks, or Dinosaurs in Heaven; Not Even Cats, Cows or Crows!” but now I am experiencing the slings and arrows of rat lovers because of my column “Getting Rid of Rats in Washington!” that was recently published. One writer suggested that I was wrong about rats being covered by the District law but he did not know that some rats are covered by the D.C. law and others are not.

Another writer, in defense of rats, said she was “utterly disgusted” with what I wrote. Foaming at the mouth she asked “Who are you to decide which animals is (sic) worthy of living and who’s (sic) lives are not?” Sweetheart, I have every right to decide what animals are worth living. Who else? Some dogs are acceptable, some are not. Most goldfish would be all right; however, rats, mice, roaches, mosquitoes, bedbugs, etc., are to be stepped on or trapped. Maybe shot.

Continuing her rant, she wrote, “Rats are social, loving and amazing animals….Wild or domestic, rats are simply amazing.” She took a deep breath and added that Washington was doing the right thing and the relocation process was an “amazing accomplishment”! My adjective would be idiotic.

Is White Pride Always Wrong?

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

We have observed environmental fanatics, in collusion with the Federal government, going to outrageous efforts to preserve the snail darter, spotted owl, and the yellow belly sap sucker; so is it unreasonable to preserve America as the land of the free and the home of the brave? Why is it commendable for Blacks, Hispanics, and others to loudly proclaim their ethnicity, but when a white person does so, everyone treats him like a bigot? Last night I saw video of a young Martin Luther King Jr. declare, “I am proud to be black. Black is beautiful. Someone needs to say it.” Why is it right for him to say it about being black but wrong for me to say the same thing about being white? I will expect an answer from my critics.

Non-thinkers/racists/liberals are now defending their racism by calling me a racist! That’s like a skunk accusing a rabbit of having bad breath! Not too swift but no one says racists/liberals are very sharp or honest people. They are fanatics and totally committed to their radical agenda.

This is an issue that no one wants to deal with–the proverbial elephant sitting in a formal living room and everyone pretends it isn’t there! While I don’t want to be identified with the white supremacist crowd or the clowns of the KKK, I do think it is not only right but also desirable to be proud of our heritage–whatever our heritage is.

Getting Rid of Rats in Washington!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I have long thought that the world is nuts, especially the world of Washington, D.C. Now I am sure. It seems Washington, D.C. has a rat problem. No, not that kind, the four-legged kind. Some of the rats are big as cats, so big that some homeowners are fearful of permitting their cats to confront the rats after dark.

Traditionally, rats have always been fearful of cats, but not these super rats!

Rats have infested some half-million-dollar homes and have been seen robbing bird feeders in daylight. Other homeowners have had rats come up in the commode from the sewer system. One family had that experience three times! That could mean a new experience when one goes to the potty, especially at night. While you dribble, dribble, dribble the rats can nibble, nibble, nibble.

Questions No Reporter Will Ask Romney!

We are told that a politician’s religion is private and is of no concern to anyone. In fact, it is supposed to be bigoted to inquire what a candidate believes; however, that is dangerous non-thinking. Since religion is an extremely personal thing making up the character and principles of a person, it is insane not to consider a candidate’s religion.

Harry Truman was a Baptist, but not a very good one; however, what he learned from church and the Bible sure affected millions of people on earth, especially Israel. When Israel declared itself a nation on May 14, 1948, Truman recognized the new state without going through his advisors. He did it knowing most of his close advisors and both the State and War Departments were against the recognition.

The politicians were fearful that Muslim states would cut off our access to oil and the possibility of a Soviet/Arab alliance. May 15, the Arab states issued their statements of opposition and immediately invaded the new nation–and got their tails whipped. (Muslims are slow learners and got their tails whipped repeatedly over the following years.) That first Israeli/Arab war is known as the War of Independence.

Some Facts and Opinions about Martin Luther King, Jr.

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Well, it is that time of year when I write my annual column about MLK and his national holiday. As usual, most of the media refuse to read or hear anything negative about him. They are self-appointed guardians of the holy grail. However, they were sure thrilled to write about another Black man–Herman Cain! King’s statement that a person should be judged by his character not the color of his skin is obvious to everyone except the dedicated haters. However, most media, entertainment, and academic people do not practice that philosophy even though nodding in agreement. The media considers facts about King not to be discussible.

Without any reservation I agree with King’s observation that we must judge people by their character and nothing else and will do just that as I take a look at King without any prejudice. I wonder if radical leftists, King worshipers, white liberals, black non-thinkers, media moguls, Joe Six-Pac, and others will do the same? Look at the King facts as you try to control your emotions.

The following facts about King are irrefutable whereas my opinions can be discussed, debated, and disbelieved by anyone. The documentation can be found in my 22-page report “Martin Luther King, Jr.: Judged by His Character, Not His Color.” (cstnews.com)

King was a confessed adulterer having many prostitutes and mistresses as all informed people know; however, we are not supposed to mention that sin in his life. We are told that he was not perfect and was, indeed, a flawed person. That is supposed to negate any criticism; however, while King, his best friend, and his very friendly biographer admit the unsavory fact, we won’t dwell on it. But the media sure dwelt on Cain’s alleged sexual problems. And the charges against Cain were as fishy as a ten-day-dead Grouper.

People Without Integrity Reject Facts About Homosexuality!

Following are stark, shocking, and serious facts about homosexuality along with a few opinions. Remember that everyone has a right to his own opinion but no one has a right to his own facts. People with integrity accept facts even if those facts bruise their opinions. There are a few honest, informed homosexuals who agree with every point I will make! Most of the media are too cowardly to recognize, accept, or publish the following.

Homosexuals are not “born that way,” and any study of the facts will support that; however, most politicians, pundits, psychologists, and preachers are too lazy or bigoted to learn and accept the truth. Even the very pro-homosexual American Psychological Association has returned to reality and in the last couple of months declared: “There are no scientific findings that a person is born homosexual.” One of their brochures declares: “There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops s heterosexual, bisexual, gay or lesbian orientation.”

Contrary to the dishonest, leftist propaganda, once into the pathetic lifestyle homosexuals can escape. A recent comprehensive study published in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy determined that “some people can indeed move from homosexuality to heterosexuality, and that harm is unlikely to result from such efforts.”

Hillary’s Knowledge of the Bible Would Fit in the Navel of a Flea

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Hillary Clinton is no sex expert or Bible expert, in fact, I’m not sure she is an expert on anything. Moreover, does any sane, honest person think she would be Secretary of State if her name were Paula Jones?

Recently Clinton, talking like a sex expert and Bible expert, made some really stupid remarks in promoting perversion (or to be politically correct, the homosexual agenda). She is not satisfied that the homosexual crowd has taken control of the media, the entertainment industry, mainline church groups, and academia but now she and Obama would raise the stakes and go for a global acceptance of perverted practices! She declared that it is “one of the remaining human rights challenges of our time,” saying it was similar to the effort of ending racial, sexual, or religious discrimination. Hand me a barf bag. All Blacks should be indignant at her nonsensical babbling.

Hilary went for the religious jugular when she blasted Christians who object on Bible grounds to her hedonism. “These objections,” she said, are “not unlike the justification offered for violent practices towards women like honor killings, widow burning, or female genital mutilation.” She was trying to convince us that the crusade for approval of a man climbing into bed with another man and a woman with woman is equally honorable to the crusade to eliminate honor killings, widow burning, or female genital mutilation! Maybe Bill didn’t inhale those funny cigarettes but Hillary sure did.

Did You Know THIS About Islam?

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

The Koran teaches ancient, pagan myths about Christ that Mohammad plagiarized from Persia (now Iran). One myth has the infant Christ speaking from his cradle, (sura 3:46) while another one has Him making clay birds in the presence of his childhood friends, then having the clay birds fly away! (sura 3:49.) Mohammad was not even original in his silly myths.

Mohammad boasted about sleeping with each of his 20 wives (slaves, concubines, etc.) each day, further proof that he was not only a liar but suffered from delusions of grandeur (one who overestimates his own abilities, talents, stature or situation.) His abnormal “flights of fancy” ran far ahead of his ability to perform. And then again, maybe he actually slept!

Mohammad conjured up the idea of temporary marriage that gave permission for men to have sex with any woman if he was married to her. His fifteen or twenty-minute “marriage” made the sex “legitimate.”

New Atheists Want to Remove Children from Your Home–or Worse!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Angry New Atheists have attacked and challenged me because of my accusation that they want to remove children from the influence of parents, teachers, or preachers who teach the doctrine of Hell and the exclusive plan of salvation through Christ. One atheist from Australia wrote, “Really? This is a very serious (and demonstrably false) accusation. Please provide some evidence for this claim.” My charge is not false, demonstrably or otherwise. Atheists hate religion and consider it child abuse; hence children should not be exposed to it. Frankly, it is far worse than simply removing children from Christian homes as the following proves.

Perry Bulwer is an atheist lawyer who writes: “The educational rights of children are also undermined when they are intellectually abused with biblical literalism, anti-science creationism or denied the right to attend university.” He charges that “many fundamentalist and orthodox beliefs are highly detrimental to children’s minds.” (Religion and Child Abuse News website.) Note that he is not referring to physical abuse, but intellectual abuse because children are taught Bible truth and Creationism! But it gets worse, much worse.

The American Atheists’ website clearly proved my contention when the founder, Al Stefanelli, Georgia State Director, wrote of fundamentalist Christians, “They don’t respond to lawsuits, letters, amicus briefs or other grass-roots campaigns and they must, must, must be eradicated.” Eradicated means “to wipe out, destroy, tear out by the roots.” He continues to libel us when he lumps us with fanatics who fly planes into buildings and “people being burned for witchcraft.” Al is so uninformed that he doesn’t know that no “witch” was ever burned in America! Obama Could Win in 2012 With this Speech!

Obama Could Win in 2012 With this Speech!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

My fellow Americans, as of today I will lead this nation to implement the following principles, policies, and practices at home and abroad:

This nation will follow a new foreign policy that will solve the problem of terrorism. We will return to our roots and follow the wise advice of our Founding Fathers. We will no longer get entangled in foreign alliances. We will no longer meddle in the affairs of other nations nor consider ourselves the policeman of the world. We will always consider first our national interests. We will not presume that we know best for other countries. What may be “best” for us may not be best for them.

Since America has been attacked by Muslim fanatics, we have aggressively gone after those responsible; however, we will no longer try to topple governments and set up democracies. Of course, we will always encourage liberty everywhere. We will not carpet-bomb cities filled with innocent civilians. We do not believe “total war” is morally right or militarily justified. However, be assured those culpable individuals will be punished as a deterrent to others.

Christians Who Voted for Obama Must Repent!

Christians Who Voted for Obama Must Repent!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I have never done this before, but this column is written with an “I told you so” attitude. All honest, informed people will now admit that Obama’s becoming President was the greatest mistake ever made in American history! Therefore, those Christians who voted for him should confess their sin and repent.

His anti-American, socialist/Marxist, racist, antibusiness actions are far more egregious than the litany of complaints that early American colonists made against the tyrant King George III. It is incredible that those early colonists rallied to revolution against King George while many present-day Americans still think Obama is simply a liberal Democrat. It is time to repent of the sin of gullibility and stupidity although I’m not sure one can be forgiven for stupidity. That will probably continue even after conversion.

I wrote the following in 2008 and reiterate it today.

New Atheists: No Sense of Humor or No Sense?

New Atheists: No Sense of Humor or No Sense?

-Don Boys, Ph.D.

The battle between Christians and the New Atheists is very serious since they seek to remove children from homes if parents teach that there is a Hell and Jesus Christ is the exclusive way of salvation. That is super serious; however, the New Atheists are always good for a few laughs as a recent letter proves.

Joseph wrote seeking to answer my challenge for atheists to “Put up or Shut Up.” He did what most of the atheists do who respond to my book (The God Haters), my websites (cstnews.com and thegodhaters.com), or my columns. Atheists almost never get to the issues but attack me, i.e., my credentials, my motives, my character. Of course, that is much easier than proving their point. It doesn’t matter whether I am a farmer, salesman, or factory worker. Nor does it matter if I got my Ph.D. from a cereal box. How about some answers?

Joseph suggested that I am lazy because I don’t try to find out what scientists are saying when “they say that the universe could have come from nothing. Basically what they are saying is that empty space is not empty.” He is wrong: what they are saying is that everything came from nothing, so nothing created everything! I spent over three years researching and writing The God Haters that involved researching more than 35 atheists’ books, many I read in their entirety. (I wonder how many New Atheists will read my book.)

Atheists Respond to my Challenge to Put Up or Shut Up!

Atheists Respond to my Challenge to Put Up or Shut Up!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I challenged atheists in my book, The God Haters to put up or shut up and I have had some very interesting replies. There is no way I can verify that these people are qualified to answer my questions, but they seem to think that their answers are authoritative. Plus, their crudeness and anger match the New Atheists. Nevertheless, I challenged them and I think you deserve to read their responses to my challenge. Below is one atheist’s “answer.” More to follow in the weeks ahead.

He replied, “No one, absolutely no one, believes that nothing created everything.” Note how definite he was, but evidently he was lying or totally uninformed. Atheists often ridicule Christians who declare that God created everything out of nothing, and they do so with scorn and sarcasm. When I demand to know their answer as to how everything got here (after all, we are here!) they get as uncomfortable as a dog in hot ashes, try to put on a scholarly look, then they squirm and with less authority in their voice tell me “We came from nothing or nothing created everything.” That is shabby, shabby thinking. If you have nothing, it is obvious that nothing can be produced.

Famous scientist Quinton Smith concludes that “the most reasonable belief is that we came from nothing, by nothing, and for nothing,” and fellow scientist, Stephen Hawking declared, the universe likely “popped into existence without violating the known laws of Nature,” Sure, everything just “popped into existence.” That’s very scientific, isn’t it.

Author of “The God Haters” Challenges the New Atheists!

Author of “The God Haters” Challenges the New Atheists!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

The New Atheists, led by Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Daniel Dennett and Sam Harris, have proved by their own books and websites to be angry, abrasive, arrogant atheists. They shout from their ivory towers their hatred toward any and all religions and demand that children be “protected” from pastors, teachers and even parents who teach an exclusive way of salvation and the teaching of an eternal hell. All children under such an influence must be removed from classrooms, Sunday school classes and even their homes!

That is not going to happen until pigs learn to fly and shrimp learn to whistle. In fact, I would not comply with such a law even if pigs learned to fly in flocks and did aerial stunts over the White House and pigs learned to whistle “Dixie” in harmony.

Their books are filled with malice, mishmash and mistakes and I challenge them to admit and correct their biblical, historical and scientific blunders. I am willing to overlook the malice and mishmash as normal for God Haters, as is their bluffing, bragging, bluster and bravado. All of that seems to be in their genes or in Dawkins’ mythical memes.

Can Christianity Today and Chuck Colson Handle the Truth?

Can Christianity Today and Chuck Colson Handle the Truth?

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I read the June issue of Christianity Today with some pleasure after filtering out the New Evangelical drivel that is often spouted on various pages. As an Independent Baptist Fundamentalist who advocates “responsible, biblical militancy,” I would obviously disagree with the loosey-goosey theology, lack of ecclesiastical separation, lack of promotion of godly living, etc.

However, I was dismayed to read in the column, “Civility Under Fire” by Colson and George a reference to MLK, Jr. that needs to challenged. Evangelicals speak and write about civility and usually practice it with unbelievers and fellow Evangelicals, but often are most unkind, unfair, and uncivil when dealing with Fundamentalists. After all, tolerance only goes so far!

I totally agree with the general thrust of the article and I think every Fundamentalist needs to seriously be aware of our tendency to be “quick on the draw” during our debates and discussions and to use a metaphorical shotgun when a BB gun will do the job. After all, while we don’t like the loosey-goosey theology of most Evangelicals and don’t like the unscriptural soft position taken on most issues, we are dealing with family. As a member of the same family I call attention a bad mistake in the column that uses MLK, Jr. as an example for the rest of us.
